Why does everyone think The Rock is going to lower himself and come back and wrestle? He's in a different world now. Cena? Ok, he'll do the job while also being a big name in Hollywood. But I just don't see Rock coming back. He's way too big of a star. No matter how much he owes wrestling for where he is now, it's still "wrasslin" and someone like him will not ever do it again, IMHO.
So who beats Roman (unless his current injury has him drop the belt)? I only see a few names:
1. Bron Breakker in one year's time 2. Seth Rollins 3. Edge (as a retirement present)

The first match of night 1 and the last match of night 2 both ending early because of injuries is insane. Hey man, how did you like the risers? I was sitting in the risers tonight and I hated it haha. Felt a lot lower than the risers at WM33, to the point where it was basically a ground seat. I missed my level 3 seat from night one. Overall though, it was a lot rowdier down there than up in the nosebleeds. But either way, both nights they put on a hell of a show. It really was the most STUPENDOUS two night WrestleMania of all time. Oh I loved my seats. View was fantastic.

Rock has returned multiple times from stints in Hollywood. Why wouldnt the return this time? Also, he’s be working with his family.

Dwayne will be 50 next year and has said multiple times he’s retired after his final match at WM29. And it’s not like he’s desperate for a big pay-day like say Goldberg who seems to always come back for the Saudi shows. The guy is also crazy-busy with his schedule (even more-so than the average Hollywood star). I’ve learned to never say never when it comes to the wrestling business, but I won’t believe it until I see Rocky appear on WWE programming to challenge Roman.

Quick and random question, if and when Vince sells the WWE, do you think things will get better or worse?

Plus, most assume Dominic Turetto rubbed off some on Rock after sharing screentime with him.

WWE is beneath him. And I don't write that as a fan of Rock. I can't stand him. I write that as a knock on him. He thinks he's better than WWE now and going back will tarnish what he's created. He could be given a 007 type role one day, other major Hollywood roles, etc. If he "wrassles" again his image will slide back down.

In fewer words: you can't be taken seriously as an actor if you're wrestling. That's why Cena only does comedy or action.

Every role The Rock does is comedy or action lol Cena's Peacemaker role has had more emotion in his character than all of the roles The Rock has played in the last decade You have a very skewed perception of things. A Pornstar was literally the lead role in arguably one of the biggest shows in the last decade, Euphoria

If this were true then he wouldn’t have come back at WM 27, 28, and 29. He also wouldn’t have shown up at the Royal Rumble a few years ago. He’s already established his name is Hollywood and wrestling wouldn’t diminish it. If anything, his name has only gotten bigger since those appearances which would show that wrestling doesn’t negatively impact his acting career. It either proves the opposite or the fact that there is not a strong correlation. Either way your mindset is completely off.

I’m not going to argue age as a possibility detractor but to say “wrestling is below him” is something I disagree with. I think Rock thought that in the beginning of his acting career but I don’t see him thinking that now. Acting is surely the priority but I’d say never say never.

He even made a tape for Impact wrestling. Wrestling in WWE won't "tarnish" anything for him. He's the biggest movie star on the planet.
