I was thinking the other day about what San Diego Comic Con 2021 reveals haven't been plugged into a set yet. The only two I could think of were Chainsaw Charlie and Chief Jay Strongbow. Are there others out there we haven't seen yet or know when they're coming?

Strongbow is the next Collector’s Edition figure after Goon exclusive to Target. Elite 90

I thought the Collector's Editions were being scrapped, but now they've announced that new Bulldog. Smyths have stopped stocking them, so we can't get them now anyway, without paying over the odds.

I don’t think they ever said they would be scrapped. Just altered. I think after Strongbow they’re no longer store exclusives and will be used sporadically.

Collectors Edition will just be branding starting with that set, but it will be in all cases of the set. |

I’m pretty sure Steve has mentioned several times that Chainsaw Charlie would be later in the year.

You’re right. They fail to realize that Strongbow can’t hit stores if the set he’s in hasn’t even hit (E90 is supposedly just now starting to, so he should pop up soon for the usual 2x-3x retail). The sooner the better because I’m tired of seeing so many people ask about him. As for Charlie, he’s a mainline elite and E95 and up haven’t been confirmed yet. He’ll probably be in E95 or E96 since he’s supposed to ship before the end of the year. Off topic, but I can’t wait to see what they do with E100. |
