there is/was/should not be any backlash over this figure. there's nothing wrong with it. its not mocking anyone, making fun of anything, its not offensive or misleading, its not too sensitive. its a wrestling action figure of a literal BELOVED legend of the business
and i want it. i hope i find one.

I'd love to find one in a store too but I'm sure they'll wind up on Ringside if not. I remember stressing about finding Kama in a situation very similar to this - he seemed rare, mostly overseas, bidding wars were breaking out, going for huge prices, etc. Now, not only is he an easy get on the Wally website, but he's plentiful on the shelves. I still see two on the pegs in my local 'Mart...he just ain't moving for some reason. Glad I held out and got him for $20 vs $100+ on the bay. |

What nonsense? They said it was part of e90 as a Target exclusive. While not live it is on Target’s app although it and the female retribution members have the wrong pic/description. (A Target issue) And has been popping up over the last week. But people like to act as if the sky is falling.

My local Target just got a massive dump of 88, 89 and 90 all at once. Guess that shipping backlog is starting to ease.
But guess what: while the current talents were all bountiful and plentiful, the sets had already been picked of Slaughter, RVD, Hogan, Boss Man, Strongbow and Goon.
Someday Mattel will learn that THESE are the figures that are selling and this is the real market. Nobody gives a crapabout the gazillionth Seth Rollins or some nobodies like Chelsea Green or Karrion Kross.

Kama, Goon, Warlord would have done perfectly fine in the legends line but for some reason they were just packed 1 per case and only available at 1 store. I guarantee you Steve and Bill would love to make more legends but they are bound by licensor constraints. |

Seriously Mattel, Again with this nonsense ? it was always a Target exclusive. it's the "Collectors Edition" for Elite 90 Goon was 89, Strongbow is 90. with them popping up on ebay it means people are finding them in stores. i think this is the last official Collectors Edition figure at least consistently. Steve said at the last Mattel reveals/Q&A that the concept was going away and only going to be used for special situations going forward |

They’ll argue “there’s the network.” Doesn’t matter. Some 7 year old wants a Seth Rollins and John Cena and there’s one of them born every other minute. That’s their bread and butter. Not random dude on the internet that really wants a Dino Bravo or Greg Valentine or whatever crap and they still make those. Get over yourselves… The reason they sell well is because they’re short packed. Look at the Legends line. FLOODED currently. |
