 You do realize WWE has a licensor has involvement in this right? I'll never understand the people who don't comprehend that. People can’t comprehend that toys meant for kids wouldn’t always feature talent from 30+ years ago. They’ll argue “there’s the network.” Doesn’t matter. Some 7 year old wants a Seth Rollins and John Cena and there’s one of them born every other minute. That’s their bread and butter. Not random dude on the internet that really wants a Dino Bravo or Greg Valentine or whatever crap and they still make those. Get over yourselves… The reason they sell well is because they’re short packed. Look at the Legends line. FLOODED currently. Mattel made 2 million on the new gen arena 100% from adult collectors. The CE, UE , legends, retros, are largely made for adults. Don’t underestimate the power of adult collectors. |

My local Target just got a massive dump of 88, 89 and 90 all at once. Guess that shipping backlog is starting to ease. But guess what: while the current talents were all bountiful and plentiful, the sets had already been picked of Slaughter, RVD, Hogan, Boss Man, Strongbow and Goon. Someday Mattel will learn that THESE are the figures that are selling and this is the real market. Nobody gives a crap about the gazillionth Seth Rollins or some nobodies like Chelsea Green or Karrion Kross. You listening, boys? you do realize that Bill and Steve are CONSTANTLY trying to get new names and legends into the line. Including Hercules, Barbarian, Dino Bravo, Koko B Ware, Tony Atlas, Fabulous Rougeaus, Dynamite Kid, and everyone you can think of. Problem is, if WWE isn’t signing them…THEY can’t make them. It’s not like Jakks who could get WWE’s approval and sign the wrestlers to figure deals. The relationship is different. You really think Bill and Steve don’t wanna make these guys? Of course they do. |

Wait this damn figure is popping up at targets now ? Seriously Mattel, Again with this nonsense ? it was always a Target exclusive. it's the "Collectors Edition" for Elite 90 Goon was 89, Strongbow is 90. with them popping up on ebay it means people are finding them in stores. i think this is the last official Collectors Edition figure at least consistently. Steve said at the last Mattel reveals/Q&A that the concept was going away and only going to be used for special situations going forward My mistake i thought it was a walmart exclusive. But this is actually a good thing. RSC is getting zodiac in a few months so I have full confidence as long as they didn't "harley race" the strongow figure ringside will get some. I mean its target and they are going to under order this set just like all there exclusives. WWE figures are just not "chic" enough for target to care about. |

Not all were on the same aisle as the other WWE figures. Each had been picked through, sadly no Strongbow's.

Man, the only reason I didn't buy this earlier was because it fell out of my radar after reading post after post and a few articles about how it got cancelled. There's not a single Strongbow left on eBay right now but I think I'll wait and see how it fairs and if it winds up on Ringside Collectibles.

Man, the only reason I didn't buy this earlier was because it fell out of my radar after reading post after post and a few articles about how it got cancelled. Yeah i saw it earlier too...seller wanted 125 and I thought that was too much but I was considering bidding 70 and just being done with it but it went down before it was due to end...I have hope this still comes out, dude was a beloved character from an era we don't get many figures of. |

my stingy ass missed out on that very first batch that went up on ebay. i only offered him $30 and he declined, yet he was happily selling them for $35+. i dont know, with shipping and taxes theres only so much any given figure is worth to me.

A few times I’ve seen things on eBay I really wanted at fair prices but with PayPal now not being part of eBay and having to put password in I couldn’t be bothered to click the buy now and have to put in my password When I went back a day or so later they had gone Now as long as it’s fair and I want it I jump on it to avoid missing out |
