Holy crap, some of the replies in this thread. It's this kind of outlook why there is cancel culture. Ironically, it's the type who hold that outlook that also perpetuates the spectre of "cancel culture" 🤷

Yeah, Ric Flair wouldn't harass someone if they weren't asking for it. Lacey should have just wore something less revealing like a nice sweater, a turtleneck, or a flight attendant outfit.

if they are flaunting jewelry/money to a robber then yes. Woof this is an insane take in 2022 It’s the correct take as well. However we have gone woke and have ignored basic common sense. If I walk around with money hanging out of my pockets I should expect to get robbed. If a woman shows almost all of it, expect men to objectify and hit on her.

People use that woke and cancel culture excuse when society has simply decided that something isn’t acceptable anymore. People can’t let it go, a woman wearing a dress does not invite men to make any comments about her body that they want.

“If a woman wears something I think is sexy, I should be able to make them feel uncomfortable!”
How is this thread still open?

Where do some of you guys draw the line between complimenting someone being hot and sexual assaulting them? I feel like the line is quite murky.

I mean the line between those two things is pretty clear lmao, but I get what you mean. Clear examples would probably violate forum language so my post would get canned. Tough to define what crosses a line between flirting and harassment, but it's pretty clear when you see it.

People who love a wrestling company that routinely holds shows in Saudi Arabia yet pretend to be upset with Ric Flair are funny.

It’s too much to expect people to keep that to themselves? People use that woke and cancel culture excuse when society has simply decided that something isn’t acceptable anymore. People can’t let it go, a woman wearing a dress does not invite men to make any comments about her body that they want. Not to sound like a smart ass, but who starts this whole canceling thing and when does it become relevant? I just find it odd that people are okay with a lot of things until something pops up, whether it’s an event/news and then they join the bandwagon. Does someone go on twitter and dig up old posts etc? Anyways, as far as the latter statement I agree. A woman wearing a garment that she feels comfortable shouldn’t warrant sexual harassment. I do however think that certain attires have their place and time. Women get hit on daily especially if they’re attractive. Regardless, of the circumstances, unfortunately it’s the world we live in. Women will have men unsolicitedly approach them. I don’t get the point of saying some over the top crap and then getting upset when a woman does not give you the response you want. Call it a day and move on…. Now on the other hand, chances raise up when you wear something that’s raunchy or attention grabbing. I’ve been in the mix of this with some ex girlfriends. They would claim that they hated getting hit on etc, but would wear super tight leggings late at night or super short booty shorts around their neighborhoods where people weren’t super friendly. I’m from NYC too so bare with me. I would take them home to make sure they were safe, but I’d tell them they needed to be more careful in terms of the clothes they were selecting at times. Needless to say, they were there for the validation and ego boost. As I’ve gotten older I’ve realized that it’s best to save the headache and date someone who has some kind of moral sense and respect for you. I understand both sides of this argument though.

Where do some of you guys draw the line between complimenting someone being hot and sexual assaulting them? I feel like the line is quite murky. I'm assuming you mean "harassing" not "assaulting." The difference between verbal and physical is is pretty cut and try. Things are "murky" because people are different. Imagine some single women heading to a bar/party. If one of them is interested in meeting a guy and she pretty'd herself up, how do you think she would feel at the end of the night if zero guys looked at her or said anything to her? She tried to look amazing. She thought she looked amazing. She looked amazing. And then no guys gave her the time of day? That would bother a lot of women. That doesn't mean you walk around with your tongue out. Acknowledging a woman and letting her know you notice her is a thing though. A generation of people who only meet people online may not realize it, but it is. Again though, grab ass and making hollering sounds is probably going to get you in more trouble these days.

Think we've hit the trifecta here. If only that mattered for anything...
Also, if OP and 64% of deserving responses were scrubbed, how is this still open?

Ric is a"pos" but WWE only "conducts business." That's the "Funny" I was talking about.
