Because he's one of the biggest celebrities in the world right now and they're trying to get more eyes on the product.
It's really no different than Mr T coming out with Hogan.

He has a large following and is in good enough shape to work a match/make appearances. He’s not as bad as his brother.

I can’t blame them for always using Logan & Bad Bunny since they both got huge followings world wide on social media YouTube etc etc. This stuff can try bring more eyes on the product.

any promotion would be foolish to not use someone with that level of clout if they can. how they use him can be debated, but there’s no real questioning of if he is an asset or not.

I still have no idea who the Logan Paul is. He was a YouTuber that made vlogs about crap he did. He also makes music and is currently a boxer.

Every year we get people asking why celebrities are involved in Wrestlemania despite that being what Wrestlemania was built on.
I fully expect the yearly “Doesn’t feel like Wrestlemania season” and “Worst build to a Wrestlemania EVER!” thread next.

What is with WWE's hard on for this douchebag? He has 33 million subscribers on Youtube and the WWE thinks if 1/3rd of them tune in, they will get 11 million more viewers. Spoiler: They wont.

What is with WWE's hard on for this douchebag? Vince, and WWE, have always wanted to be on the same tier with MLB, NBA, NFL, etc. They want to be on Sports Center nightly. They also want to be THE mecca for entertainment. When ratings were in the 5.0s back in the day ... they thought that was the start of it all. But that one-time wonder was just that ... one time. Ratings will never be that good again. And no one outside of a wrestling fan will want to see it on par with their sports. And no one outside of a wrestling fan will turn to WWE for entertainment. VKM ruined (and yes, saved) professional wrestling with his dream to get it away from "wrasslin'". And while he took it to a much larger place in society ... ESPN, sports fans, and social media obsessed people will always see it as one thing and one thing only: wrasslin'.
So why did they bring in Logan Paul? Because VKM and WWE are still reaching for the impossible. And they're serious about it too. From toys, to trading cards, to the network, to social media, to stars in movies and TV shows, to the Grand Daddy of them All ... the truly and honestly think they can pull it off. They honestly and truly think they can be the IT sport, the IT place for social media, and the IT thing to talk about at the water cooler.
So ... why did they? Because WWE. That's why.

I dont agree with the "Celebrities have always been part of Mania" argument because we're putting celebrities IN the ring. Outside of Mr. T & LT, celebrities werent workers until the last few years. Nobody wanted to see Regis, Burt Reynolds or Donald Trump in matches. Ive got no problems with bringing in celebrities to be hosts, entertainment (piss breaks), refs, time keepers, announcers etc....But unless they're dead ass serious about learning to work a match where it doesnt come off like a sham, keep em out of the ring.

Because he’s one of the biggest stars on the planet, he’s experienced at athletic fighting exhibitions, they already have a working relationship with him, and he was willing to do it for the money they offered.
