I still get a crack at that Andre promo prior to the Main event with DiBiase and he's like...
''Mr. DiBiase I will tell you one thing. I will deliver that belt. The World World Wrestling Federation!''

Andre’s reign. February ‘88. Is DiBiase's your 2nd favorite??? It would be, but it never counted. 2nd would probably be Yokozuna’s 1st reign at Mania 9.

Great question
I will always be partial to the Ultimate Warriors run,but I think I have to give this to either Bret Harts first or second run, even though neither one was very long. My first WWF champions were Hogan, Warrior, Slaughter, Savage and Flair (not counting Undertaker) and Bret was the first WWF Champion who actually felt like he was on the weekly shows on a consistent basis.

Hogan in 96-97 after the heel turn...
Speaking of which, I've always believed Nash would have been a great long term champion after beating Goldberg at Starrcade. Shame the finger poke happened.

The Rock from June - October 2000. It was his only long reign with the world title & he put the federation on his back. He was number 1

Bret Hart: (March - November 1994) This was the reign Bret was in when I first started watching and loved his feuds with Diesel, Owen, and Backlund.
Other reigns up there for me are Bret (November 95 - March 96), Diesel (November 94 - November 95), HHH (January - April 00), Brock (August - November 02), Angle (December 02 - March 03), Brock again (September 03 - February 04), Eddie (February 04 - July 04), and JBL (July 04 - April 05).

It's hard to pick but the 97' title Scene from Taker-Bret-HBK - I know its 3 but I couldn't pick, them trading the belt was my favourite time for the WWF title
If I HAD to pick, it's 97' Bret, not for the run itself, but for his Character in 97'
Next Favorite is HHH 2000 Jan-April

Austin from April -September 98. I don't count Kanes one nighters really....
The drama of McMahon vs Austin & all Vinces scheming made it can't miss TV.
