I wouldn't be surprised if the folks in the Austin Theory w/ VKM vs. Pat McAfee camp end up being correct. We'll see what happens!

According to a recap of the interview, Vince offered McAfee an open match at Mania but did not say an opponent, nor did he imply it would be himself.

Vince & Austin Theory vs Pat McAfee & Shane McMahon. Ref gets bumped early. Vince takes the coast to coast with a trashcan early then sells on the floor. Theory gets worked over. Later in the match Shane elbows Theory through the announce table but back in the ring Pat safely punt kicks Vince for the win. Then afterwards Theory tries helping Vince up but Vince slaps at him and yells a bunch of time. Theory then slaps him back & hits his finisher on him.

At least we get a McAfee match, he deserves a figure after his better than expected matches with Cole, maybe he van carry Vince to a good match
