I'm just going to make one more point and then I'm not going to engage anymore. If you scan a barcode and walkout with something with a different barcode that means you did not pay for the item you are leaving with even if you paid the correct amount of money. That means you are entitled to the item you paid for and not what you're leaving with. Believe it nor not in every state that is actually considered theft, feel free to look it up or ask LP. Target is within their rights to press charges or ban you from that location. If that's how you want to get the figure then that's cool I just would recommend not getting caught and would recommend asking them before doing it. These 2 things you just mentioned are apart of everyday life not just a Batista figure, people buy WAY more expensive things then a figure to be one of the first to have it and also buy things that other people can’t so that they can be the envy of others, it’s called life, things wouldn’t be special if these were not apart of life, not to mention the biggest reason and that is to turn a profit, if you have a figure in your collection that is special to you I bet it’s because it’s either worth good money or it’s very sought after, I have RSC SES punk, do I think the figure is great no, is it special to me yes, all because it goes for lots of money and it’s very sought after, just trying to make a point that these are normal everyday situations that we ALL have and do, it brings me back to when I found elite 59 miz at Walmart when ringside didn’t even have them yet, it was the strangest thing to come across especially so fast, I bought the figure and posted on here, would I have bought it if they were released and easy to find? No, I did it because it was cool to have it so early, hope this makes sense

I 100% agree. Hell, maybe this method will increase chances of another Taker and Kane ultimate. All the while, Batista will sell just fine and Macho will still come later this year

I was able to purchase a Batista on Wednesday. I went to self checkout, was hit with the 9/9, they called the CSM over, she made a phone call to the customer service center (I'm guessing) and eventually they approved her selling me the figure.

For those who are taking Undertakers and Kanes to make a scan, while you're being clever in your own way, here's what happens. Everyone uses brickseek or the target app and sees in stock, runs to the store, and sees no Batistas. That's how the "inventory" is a problem. For those who couldn't care less about that, then good for you. For those who's store said in stock but weren't able to locate the figure, this is likely what happened.
