LONG overdue if you ask me. And an absolute shame they didn't do it while he was alive because I genuinely can't think of someone who a Hall of fame induction would have meant more to than Vader.

He should have been inducted years ago, when he was still alive.
Better late than never, I guess.

as others said, it’s a shame they didn’t give him the honour while alive.

He made it known he only had 2 years left to live. Then Foley & others made a public plea to get him in the HOF before it was too late. But still WWE never made the call. Sure it's cool he is going in at last but why wait till he's gone. It's not like there is a waiting list. Same thing happened with Chyna. They even made up a rule to keep Chyna out for so long due to her performing in adult films. But yet a Jimmy Snuka tribute video was allowed to air on RAW after he past even though he killed someone.

0 reason he should have taken this long.

The best big man in the history of the biz in my book. Long, long overdue.

Very well deserved.
Very sad that they didn't do this while he was alive. Same with Neidhart. I hope Luger gets to go in while he's still alive.

So happy that he’s going in, but I feel the same as a lot of others, I wish he’d have went in when he was still alive. That aside, very well deserved. Vader ing ruled, one of if not the best big guy ever to be in the ring!

As already mentioned I think we can all agree he should of gone in years ago but I'm so pleased to see him honoured finally!

Tastes bitter sweet. Everybody knew his time was running short. Foley openly told them how important it was to White being inducted and how much it would habe meant to him still being alive. Deserved being inducted but not deserved being treated like this.

This induction feels sour to me.
It was common knowledge that he was dying so should've been given the honour of getting inducted while he was still alive. Shameful act by WWE.

As others said, it should have been sooner. From interviews that I’ve read, he seemed like a sweet guy.

5-10-15 years ago this would have been sweet.... at least it’s finally happening.

The best chances the WWE had to induct him was in 2011 (Atlanta) and 2017, before he passed.

Such a bittersweet thing to hear. Seeing Leon there to accept his induction would have meant so much more than the posthumous induction we're going to get. I would love to see Foley induct him to tell road stories.
Hopefully a Bam Bam induction isn't far behind either. Two of the best big men the sport has ever had.

It’s crazy neither have went in yet

Both the baseball and football hall of fame do this pretty regularly, either induct a guy after he dies or wait decades to induct. Then they are too ill to even do a proper speech and only have a limited time to enjoy the honor before they pass. It's always bothered me that they do that.
WWE did the same thing to Vader but to add insult to injury having him induct someone else, even though I'm sure he was happy for Stan Hansen. It's like the baseball hall inducting multiple Negro League players, having Buck O'Neil do the speech though he wasn't inducted and he died not long after.
