Not that surprising with the lifestyle he had. But this doesn’t mean it hurts less. Hall changed the wrestling landscape like not many other guys. The fact that WWE never let him win the eagle belt is such a missed opportunity. One of the very big names is leaving here. :-(

Just saw Nash’s IG post. Heartbreaking. The greatest to never hold a world title, imo.

Just saw Nash’s IG post. Heartbreaking. The greatest to never hold a world title, imo. British Bulldog, Mr. Perfect and Rick Rude come to my mind aswell. But Hall could have been one of the big draws, if not THE one. I habe just finished watching the 2 years that let to WM IX and X and the way they had build up Razor was the way they treat a future world champion. After the ladder match it was clear that it is going to be the year of the Bad Guy. WM XI could have easily been Diesel vs Royal Rumble winner Ramon for the Main Event...

This is the most hard hitting since Owen for me.
Scott was always a favourite for me, and for him to have turned his life around like he did and to go out like this is completely heartbreaking.

Not really the time to argue semantics, but Hennig was the AWA champ, which was recognized as a world title even though the company was on the decline, and Rude won the title in WCW.

Nash's IG post hit me hard this morning. So many of my early wrestling memories involved Hall - the 123 Kid match, his IC match against Martel, the Nitro invasion. The guy was just magnetic, and seemed to ooze cool. There was just an aura that he and Nash had that couldn't be replicated - different from Hogan, or Austin, or the Rock.
It's crazy to see yet another childhood hero gone too soon. And my heart breaks for his friends. RIP, Bad Guy.

What a devastating day for so many of us, he was a true icon. One of my OG favourites in the 90s!
BAD TIMES DONT LAST, BUT BAD GUYS DO!

What a sad, horrible, weird occurrence. Scott Hall started his career in Florida, wrestling for the NWA's Championship Wrestling from Florida, feuding with Dusty in 1984. Now, 38 years later, Dusty's gone and his son possibly returns to WWE in Florida, in the same city where a couple years earlier said son wanted to start a revolution of a WWE alternative (kind of what the NWA itself served as for years), possibly on the same day Scott Hall passes away. I guess it just shows how small the wrestling world kind of is. Everybody is intertwined.
But the wrestling side of it looks pretty unimportant compared to a man's life. Going by Kevin Nash's tweet, in just a matter of hours Scott Hall's life will come to an end. He was an amazing talent and brought joy to a lot of people. I was a WWF kid and started watching in December '99, so my main interactions with him were playing Revenge and WrestleMania: The Arcade Game, and then watching his 2002 WWF run. He was special, no doubt about it.
HEY YO!

Terrible news after all he did in the past decade to finally put his demons behind him.
Nothing but well wishes to Da Bad Guy and his family.

Just crossed over his induction speech last night naturally during my Mania binge. It hits you as he was looking forward to embrace his new life.
Wish the best to his loved ones and that he can eventually find some peace.

This one really hurts.
I got to meet Scott on his first visit outside the states back in 2013, after he had gotten help for his addiction. It was so nice to see him looking so well, and he was an absolute gentleman to meet. I was so happy to be able to have gotten even the 5 minutes I did talking to him, Nash and Sean Waltman, it truly was a once in a lifetime experience that I won't forget.
Thank you for everything, Scott. You will be truly missed.

It wasn't even the drugs or alcohol, it was complications from a hip replacement surgery that got him. That's a cruel twist of fate. Scott Hall is on my short list for all-time favorites. He's actually in my top 5 with heavy hitters like Hogan, Angle, Perfect, and Andre - and well deserved at that. I think that Brodie Lee's passing hurts more, but this is more like losing a piece of myself. I don't want to compare grief. I just know that this really sucks.
