I'm all for rereleases of rare figures. Too many people here forget not everyone started collecting when they did. Hope it's Flashback Jake as well! ...and similarly, too many people here forget that many people HAVE been collecting for years. I always think it comes across as rather entitled and frustrating when people want a figure re-released "because I wasn't collecting at the time" - especially if the figure is only a few years old. Unless you were collecting from the start of the line, there are always going to be figures you missed out on... That's life. |

If this is a new ongoing series that will consist of re-releases then we probably need to see: E16 Nash E16 Diesel FB3 Austin FB3 Commissioner Michaels HOC Simmons CE Monsoon Amazon Mankind TRU mail away Vince TRU mail away HHH L9 Chase DiBiase Amazon Mankind was re-released in the Elite line was it not? I'd add King Harley Race to this list too since nobody got him. |

I'd add King Harley Race to this list too since nobody got him. There were some differences, most notably the boots. Amazon had the crossing leather straps, the elite were plain black boots. I didn’t list Harley because I don’t believe he’s under contract anymore. |

I hope they are not re released. Looking at the possible line up if they are re releases there aren't many that I would want. Just possibly the Elite All Stars Jake the Snake Roberts that was in the two pack with Randy Orton.
Out of the releases, I would like repaints of:
• Jake the Snake Roberts from either Survivor Series 1989 or from the October 1989 Saturday Nights Main Event.
• Bam Bam Bigelow from Survivor Series 1987.
• Rey Mysterio from RAW 7/15/19 from the All Star Battle Royal.
• Rey Mysterio from RAW 8/12/19 from his 2 out of 3 fall match against Andrade.

I really hope it’s not rereleases. Why? How often do we get releases of bam bam? This would be an opportunity taking away from the possibility of another release soon after. We want a purple ECW/WCW Bam Bam, debut Rey Mysterio and I’d like another ‘98 Undertaker. If it’s rereleases, I’ll be passing on this whole set.

Is this purely speculation or based on a leak? I feel like I missed something. In the upcoming figure news thread, I think, someone posted a listing from a retailer that had a Greatest Hits heading and these wrestlers. So it's not confirmed but seems like it could be legit. |

Add me on "Team Not Re-Releases". Although I'm sure we all have our own versions of each character we want. For me, it's the heel WWF Bam Bam of the 90s with the blue/purple flame accents, a Headshrinkers Fatu (which could mean Samu on the horizon) and Undertaker, I know this is probably not a popular one, the fake Brian Lee Undertaker or even the All-Americans Undertaker with the US flag on the inside of his jacket.

If it is going to be a real line then of course they’ll be pretty much straight releases with the only difference being true FX on figures that were released prior to it. That said I am fine with it although if that is the actual lineup I will pass on all of them because I already have them or didn’t want them the first time so I still wouldn’t want them now.
As for packaging they been in a uniform package because they need to fit properly in the cases. So all the packages would be the same unlike the pics in the first post.

It’s more of wishful thinking on my behalf, but shoot if they waste potential tooling on these new parts double jointed elbows (let’s say for Bam Bam), might as well give us a new one. Mattel knows we want new versions of these guys. |
