Maybe give AEW & NJPW a shot. If you want pure entertainment (like an old vaudeville show), check out Lucha Vavoom. Why would he watch AEW & MJPW when OP said he got fatigued from watching matches just for being good matches?

I usually just watch AEW these days but I have been drawn in to mania this year, with Johnny Knoxville (I'm just a big jackass mark) , Edge vs AJ, Steve Austins return, Cody Rhodes, and what has to be the final show down between Reigns and Lesnar. Its just a pretty decent card this year. I still don't like the 2 day format but I guess that way you can throw more S*it in the hope some of it will stick.

Not sure why everyone is coming in being negative. They must have just not read any of what you said lol. I haven't been watching the full 3 hours every week, but the bits I do see of RAW have been fun. I've mostly just been keeping up with it off and on to know what's going on heading into PPVs and have been enjoying it that way. NXT has also been a lot of fun since the rebranding I think. I will say though, AEW has been really good lately, and up until a few months ago I was mostly just watching that. Not sure why people are acting like you can't just enjoy both.

I hope you find enjoyment in WWE because I can’t. Kept watching hoping things would “get better” but those days have long passed. Sometimes, I’ll skip through and watch bits and pieces of Smackdown on DVR. I wouldn’t touch Raw with a 10 foot pole. Each time I watched it I felt like I’m wasting my time. NXT is like Raw Jr. lame and uninteresting. The reason why I kept watching bad WWE TV in the recent years is that it was the company I loved as a kid. As for most of us, we probably got into pro wrestling because of WWE. I get a nostalgic feeling for things at times. If I can come up with some weird/lame analogy for most peoples experience with WWE, it’s like putting up with a sh*tty relationship where the partner constantly cheats on you and treats you like crap, but you put up with it hoping that they change because you remember the good times that you had, but they never change. A little dramatic, but that’s my experience with that company. Other than collecting figures, I won’t waste anymore time and money on that company. If you love consistent story-telling where things pay off and you’re rewarded for watching. Where you feel like you didn’t waste your time, and actually feel like you enjoy what you’re watching, AEW is for you. I keep up with AEW too but I’m more invested in WWE right now…which surprises even me. I’ve basically stopped worrying about what *I* think they should do and I’m just enjoying it for what it is

I’ve basically stopped worrying about what *I* think they should do and I’m just enjoying it for what it is That’s a huge step. When you stop getting upset that ROH guy #265937 isn’t the champion like Dave Meltzer says is the “correct booking” and all that stuff, and just watch the show to watch it and engage with the content (instead of nitpicking it against some vague “booking” rulebook in your head/on gossip sites), you have a much better time. If you’re already angry at a show because of rumours before it even starts, watching it is just a waste of your time. Being a fan is way more enjoyable than being an armchair booker with goals that don’t include the company making money.
