Given the current roster and their Wrestlemania resumes, who would you seriously consider the current Mr and Mrs Wrestlemania, respectively? For me:
Edge- Benefits from having a much longer wrap sheet than most, which includes some all timers against so of the greatest to ever do it.
Charlotte- I know, Charlotte isn’t the popular choices around here for anything positive but her matches with Becky/Sasha, Asuka, Ronda/Becky, and Rhea were all bangers imo. If her match with Ronda is anything like their Survivor Series match, it should be a good one too.

Rollins and Charlotte, but if Bianca and Becky show out then there's a strong case for Bianca to replace Charlotte.

Yeah I'm with OP with Edge. The plethora of talent he's gone up against is phenomenal, from the ladder match with the hardys and dudleys, extreme rules with Foley, and his match with Undertaker.
Only other person I can think of as somewhat close is Orton.

I agree with the above posts and I’d say AJ is up there as well.

The matches with Jericho, Orton, Nakamura, Shane, Taker were all decent enough but they all could have been much better.

The match against Jericho would have been great had they not run it like three times right before it. The match against Shane was arguably the best match of the show. The match against Nakamura just didn’t translate well with the live audience which caused people at home to not be too into it. The match with Orton could have been great but half the crowd was blinded by lighting which threw it all off. The Boneyard match was the most talked about thing from both nights of 36. The tag match was really about three vets getting Omos over which I think worked well. So no real star making performances but still a nice resume.

I don't know if there's a current guy on the roster I'd say is "Mr Wrestlemania". Considering that used to be Shawn's moniker that's a tough billing to live up to. Guys like AJ, Rollins and Owens have all shows moments where they could have been but I blame part of it on booking as well. Those are three guys that always show up, but you go from AJ's well received boneyard match one year to trying to put over Omos the next. Gotta keep those guys in top feuds come Mania season.
Id say for the women its Becky. From a pure entertainment standpoint Becky has "it" more so than any other woman on any roster. Sasha much like the men has shown moments that could be it, but again you go from a high praised main event with Bianca one year to tag teaming with Naomi in an 8 woman match the next. There's no momentum there. Bianca could be in Beckys spot in a year or two. Charlotte is way overhyped and all self promotion imo.

Not enough care is put into any level outside the marquee matches, and no one outside of a handful is given enough leverage to politick their way into "stealing the show" in any consistent manner.
And anyone who is allowed to exert that kinda pull, they're kinda sh*t in the ring.

Mr. Wrestlemania now is probably AJ Styles or Seth Rollins. Those two seem to deliver each year in their matches and I haven't been disappointed yet by any matches they had at Wrestlemania against their opponents. Edge is a good pick, but I feel he probably is on his way out in a few years again because of his age.
Mrs. Wrestlemania is Charlotte Flair easily. Maybe Sasha Banks could be that too, but her record for Mania is like 0-4 I wanna say?? And now she has been put in a tag team because nothing is being done for her. Bianca Belair could easily be in the running for Mrs. Wrestlemania too as the years go on.

For the men, Brock Lesnar...Simply because Mania is suppose to be the biggest showcase of WWE and Brock is the only one that seems like he's on another level then everyone else. As much as Im a fan of a guy like Styles or even Rollins, their Mania matches give me the same excitement and big fight feel as a Backlash match. Whether it was against Kurt Angle nearly 20 years ago or Roman Reigns this year..even if the match sucks (Mania XX vs Goldberg) It still felt like I was watching "a happening" to quote Gorilla Monsoon.
For the women, nobody. Outside of who Bliss fought (cause Im a fan) and a match or two last year...I would struggle coming up with a Mania match for the women since Trish & Mickie.

When I think “Mr WrestleMania” it’s for someone who year after year consistently outshines everyone else on the card and honestly I don’t think there’s anyone over the last decade of WrestleMania’s who does that consistently enough. And in my opinion that’s certainly not Edge. Has he been killing it leading up to WrestleMania this year? Sure. Hell, I remember he was in the Main Event with Roman and Bryan last year, but the only thing I remember about him (or the match) was his attire. I guess the closest would be Rollins, but even then I don’t think it’s been consistent enough.
For the women I guess it would have to be Charlotte because as far as the women’s division goes she is probably been the most consistent year after year.

For women, I might have to go out on a limb and say Sasha Banks. She always delivers in a major way at the event despite not always getting the spotlight. Her attires and entrances are always grand and fit WrestleMania really well. I really believe Bianca Vs Sasha last year is going to be a match that people talk about for years and years. Anyone else in that spot to get Bianca over would not have worked as well. She came out of WM32 as a major star. She hasn't been booked super strong at the event at WM33, 34 or 35 but her star power really helped get other women over.
I guess Charlotte probably is the most logical answer but everything she's done at WM kind of puts a bad taste in the fan's mouth. Fans were pretty disappointed when she retained her title at WM32 and felt it should've been a moment to crown Sasha. Pretty throwaway performance at WM33. I'd say people were 50/50 on her defeating Asuka but the match was one of the best on the card and is still a staple of women's wrestling in the 2010's. WM35 was also quite a clusterf*** and I don't think it delivered. I loved her match at WM36 but I'm afraid all of that era of wrestling will sort of fade away and be forgotten. VERY odd she missed WM37.
For men, I'd also agree with Edge. He ALWAYS delivers when he gets to the big show. Loving his run and I hope he has a few more Mania's to go.

Brock? He broke the streak, his matches are always must see regardless of his opponent or how they turn out, and he does have some classics.

I would say Brock and Charlotte currently. Their matches always have that "Big match feel". Who I look forward to most is Seth Rollins though.
If we're talking over the past 10/15 years outside of Shawn Michaels and Undertaker, I'd have to say Edge. He's had some of the best matches on the card almost consistently for me.

Its a real good resume for a guy who came from the indies TNA ROH Japan etc and then he ends up having some good WM performances in some big matches with Taker Jericho Orton Shane etc.
