I really just want updates on the New Gen Arena!! And would love some random elites to go along with set. Maybe a new elite red/black/gold 1-2-3 Kid, fresh attire Razor Ramon, any Jeff Jarrett, WMXI Bam Bam Bigelow...whatever it is. A couple of WMIX Steiners would really be great.Β Edit: PLEASE MAKE STEINERS I'm blown away, wow...hope this means some figures!!! |

Lot of unrealistic expectations for these reveals. -all of 94 and 95 (we already know the lineups) -greatest hits (already know the lineups) -Next Ultimates- Roman and Rey or Hardy -Ruthless aggression series 2 Booker, Triple H and Rey -probably see a couple from 96 and 97 but not the full sets -superstars series 3 -2-3 basic lines Always the way People hype themselves and others too much then complain when Mattel donβt deliver what they convinced themselves they would get lol
They're really good at drawing out reveals over long stretches of time, yeah. I'll just be happy to see a bit of 96 or 97, or Superstars 3.

Better take the whole two weeks off:
Monday - Prepare to get in the mood for reveal (remove pants, meditation in breakfast nook, contemplation of possibilities and other drummed-up scenarios, sensory deprivation, breathing exercises)
Tuesday - Actually get in the mood for reveal (mental exercises, reaction practice, think of potential positive and negative reactions to post on these forums and other social media outlets following said reveals)
Wednesday - Post on forums about what everyone expects to see/what Mattel damn well better show or else, refresh finger exercises, go to Target (in long trench coat because you presumably are not wearing pants and do not plan on doing so any time soon) and harass employees by preemptively asking about Axxess reveals and how to obtain them before they are even revealed, watch employee become unhinged, post about experience on WFIGS forums.
Thursday - Day 1ish
Friday - Day2ish
Saturday - Period of quiet contemplation, argue with WFers over what was/wasn't revealed, call for Bill and Steve's heads due to lack of Dino Bravo figure, Mania day 1
Sunday - Recover from excitement/disappointment of reveals, continue to argue with WF members, Mania day 2
Monday through Wednesday - clean up reveal day party leftovers, practice putting on pants again after bare-bottomed week of reveal hysteria
Thursday and Friday - Apologize to neighbors over what they may have seen/heard over the previous two weeks, eat first non-snack meals since previous Thursday
Saturday/Sunday - get back in mindset for returning to work at local feces factory and drudgery of normal life, call truck-driving uncle and Buddy who owns toy shop to strategize obtaining figures that won't be released for at least 6 months. Sleep for first time in week.

I'm a really big Scott Steiner fan. My hope is that all of this stuff with Bron, and Scott seemingly being done in-ring, has lightened Scott's stance on the Legends deal being toilet paper. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Steiners as a kid, Sting and the Steiners were my top Galoobs to go with my Hasbros, and I absolutely want them together, but late 2000/early 2001 main event Big Poppa Pump has been a top 10, day 1, want for me from Mattel. Maybe with a tiger pack-in. So this HoF deal has me tentatively pretty excited that it will translate into them signing a deal and getting a bunch of merch.

Unless the Steiners signed months ago, I doubt we will see anything confirmed or announced this weekend.
If they did sign a deal to include figures within the past week, I think it would be more likely to see renders at SDCC.
Maybe they might give us a hint, but I don't recall them ever announcing someone signed without showing the figure or the render.
Basically, I don't think the Steiner speculation will end this weekend, but I hope I'm wrong.
