Note: Hope this is allowed here, I'll be doing a diary of my Campus Legend that I'm playing on NCAA Football 2008 [PS2]. Yeah I hope you guys enjoy reading, thoughts/comments would be appreciated.
Beep...Beep....Beep, the sound of my alarm clock had awakened me. It was Sunday, and I hated waking up early on the weekends, especially after a big game. You See I'm DJ Sauber the starting Quarterback at Bay City Western high school located in Bay City, Michigan. I turned off my alarm clock which read 6:45 AM. My body was still sore from the big playoff game last night. We made it to Regionals, but we came up short as we lost to Midland High 31-23. I really don't even want to talk about that game, I played decent. But I knew that I could have stepped it up and lead my team to victory, If I only hadn't threw that one interception. After a took a shower and brushed my teeth a came down stairs for something to eat, to my surprise I saw my father sitting at the kitchen table. I grabbed a bowl of cereal and sat beside him. He tried to console me about last nights game, I really didn't want to discuss it with him. While I was eating my Frosted Flakes, he was telling me that there were plenty of scouts watching the game last night. My dad said that he overheard a few of them talking about me. It would be my dream to play college ball, but chances are I probably won't make it. A backup maybe, I really had no clue what my future had in store. After I got done eating I washed my bowl and went back upstairs to sleep.
Later on that afternoon I was sitting in my room playing NHL 2008, my dad yelled for me to come down stairs. I quickly paused the game and ran downstairs. My dad said that he just got off the phone with Mike Jenkins, one of the scouts for Central Michigan University. My dad said that Mike was at the game last night and was impressed with what he had seen. I was so excited, never in my dreams would I have expected this news! My dad said that Mike would like to meet with me sometime next week. I was ecstatic. My dad told me that maybe I could be the next phenom at Central Michigan. I chuckled, before heading back upstairs. I cannot wait to meet Mr. Jenkins, maybe I'll become a CMU Chippewa. Only time will tell.
