Roman has finally done it. He’s become the most powerful man in the company not named Vince

not a great RAW. but.
no direct WM rematches. Vince finally gave us Veer and Elias. So theres some progress.
2 years ago Vince would've done 5 rematches. Forgot about Veer then cut him. Same with Elias

Had what should have been a Dark match as a dark match, Rhodes beat Owens. Ata Johnson illegally got involved.

Missed Raw. Seems like I didn't miss much. Elias becoming Ezekiel sucks ass cheeks. Show ended with Roman saying watch Smackdown. What a waste of time.

I watched the beginning segment and I can tell you two things without a shadow of doubt:
1. Vince sees Cody as the star he’s always wanted him to see him as
2. I’m getting me a pair of those pink pants

I’m getting me a pair of those pink pants Just watched his promo. Better than 90% of the ones he gave in AEW. Still not on the level of heel Cody promo's, he's a much better heel, but one of his better babyface ones. It probably helped that he didn't try to solve racism this time lmao. But it was a good promo. Little tired of the "daddy issues" theme behind all of them, but this was a good one. I hope he now leaves the daddy part behind and just goes into work mode to accomplish it. I can get behind those promos. In a perfect world, he's on a 3 year deal here, wins the big one, goes on a real reign with it, and once he drops it and his contract ends, heads back to AEW coming in as the 'mega heel traitor' that deserted them for WWE. Does maybe a 2-3 year stint there, then finishes up his career wherever the hell he wants. WWE, AEW, New Japan, bloody Impact, don't care, at that point finish it how you see fit. I'll settle for heel Cody here, but traitor-heel Cody coming back into AEW cocky as hell saying he doesn't need the AEW championship because he already won the one he wanted, but that he signed his new contract with the ability to challenge for it anyways. Just start printing the money train now.

Just start printing the money train now. I listened to Bully Rays take on it, and while I don’t agree with most of what that dude spews out, I do somewhat agree with his take. No matter what else he did in his career, when you think of Dusty in WWF you think of the polka dots. Beyond that when you think of Dustin you think of Goldust. Cody being back is not only a chance to do what no one else in his family could do, win the WWE Championship. Because no matter anyones opinions on the company and no matter who has held it, that is the biggest championship in wrestlings history. So not only a shot to be the first Rhodes to claim that honor, but to also a chance to make a bigger impact in the company than his dad and his brother so when you hear Rhodes, you don’t think of polka dots or Goldust, you think of Cody. He needs the “daddy issues.” It’s too good a story to just pass up. He needs to do this for his family. Even if it’s all just storyline bs. This is what will launch him into being a top star in Vince’s company and then when he’s achieved his goals he can go back to AEW and chase that belt without it feeling like he just awarded himself it as his own boss.
