Remind me what Cena we’re getting. I know it’s not his Summerslam 21 attire. Is the attire he wore just prior when promoting the match? yeah it’s his money in the bank return attire then had a few segments on smackdown with it, im hoping we see the summerslam 2021 attire at comic con im sure they would make it it’s cena after all |

I'm biased but Championship Showdown really needs Mankind vs Undertaker or Mankind and Paul Bearer, Dude Love vs Austin or Dude Love and Vince McMahon, Cactus Jack vs Triple H. Some of the best Attitude Era rivalries haven't been represented yet. Some of those rivalries didn’t have a championship on the line tho. Which is why I hate the switch. They should still be Battle Packs. |

The stupid belt stand, too...drives me nuts. Take it out and put the extra couple bucks into make better figures in the pack. That or give each 2-pack some sort of accessory again. I just hate the concept. It makes the sets look cheap. |

And the argument is that they’re for kids to have two guys to fight with right out of the package. What kid uses display stands? They get thrown in a ring or toy box and that’s it. I used those BCA ones as entrance logos, but they don’t need a title belt stand with action clips. They have rings with those. |

the entire " random figure 2 pack" concept is really dated to be honest. especially with cheap basics. id be perfectly fine with them doing away with all 2 packs unless its literally a tag team. just plan out a few sets per year of tag team basic 2 packs and be done with it.
id also move elite tag teams to the 2 pack model. freeing up space in the singles line for more variety.

Most of the 2 packs warm in my area with the exception of legends packs and the Usos. Even those are not that hard to find though.

Ok, but about the 2 Packs thing.
The Battle Packs, while still being basics, served as a great chance to get FTIL and other random basics out that we otherwise wouldn't have gotten. Not that most people were ever screaming for the Singh Brothers or the Vaudvillians but were it not for the battle packs we never would have gotten them. And, also, GM Foley? Never would have gotten him. Return-Attire Shane? He wouldn't have happened. The ever popular for customizers COO Triple H (that wasn't the mail-away version). Again, part of a battle pack. Heck, we came alarmingly close to the only Zelina Vega figure ever being her battle pack one, although we may get another of her someday.
And that's why the Championship Showdown, as a concept, doesn't help. Because pretty much any attire/figure we get as a figure in them are characters we already have better figures of. The only one I can think of that really was worth it was the Usos one which, honestly, I don't know why we never got them as Elites. And that one was really hard to come by. Never saw it once at retail and it sold out fast on RSC. Outside of that, the Giant/Flair one came in handy for the headsculpts, and... actually, that's about it honestly. The whole line has been a bust.
Battle Packs? At least where I was I never saw them warm this hard. The Battle Packs were so much better. Bring them back.

Bumped into Mercedes Martinez over the weekend. she told me, she was supposed to have a basic figure that was supposed to come out back in April. if true, i wonder who took her place in that lineup
