The only ones I think they should do: This was his look during the DiBiase/Andre angle. Different enough to warrant a figure especially for those who have the chase silver suit Dibiase. Wrestling gear Virgil is a must. Could be a chase version anything with the boxer look with tassels on boots and should come with million dollar belt. Wouldn't want pre Dibiase feud or when he went to the candystriped tights. By that point jobber. Represent his 91 run and that's enough.

I just don't understand why if they were doing 1 Virgil figure, they didn't do one that was both more toyetic, and in wrestling gear. I’d argue the Virgil bodyguard is wayyyyy more iconic than wrestling Virgil. Maybe. I'd probably say the peak of his career was turning on Ted and winning the M$ championship at SS though. They should have done both, but if they did just one I'd have taken him in his gear over the suit.

Virgil was pretty important during that last year of the “Golden era” and was prominently featured as a face who broke away from Dibiase. It’s actually a pretty important figure. And one of the few major figures not made (in that attire)

when did they announce a new Virgil? They didn't. Then why is the Figure news post being flooded with "wishes" there was a whole fantasy post created just for that

People take toy discussion too seriously. Just talk about the toys.

What is the obsession with having a thread strictly for news?
Whenever there is official news, separate threads are always created (SDCC, WM weekend, Ringside fest, monthly reveals, Ringside/retailer preorders/lineup announcements, etc.).
Besides that and info here and there in the Q&A thread, there really isn't official "news" that warrants a separate topic devoted strictly to that.
Not sure why the thread can't be about "news," rumors (leaked lineups from other retailers/websites) are just that until announced, and speculation based on previous known information or new information (such as new Legends deal that sometimes are announced on wrestling news sites).

Not sure why the thread can't be about "news," rumors (leaked lineups from other retailers/websites) are just that until announced, and speculation based on previous known information or new information (such as new Legends deal that sometimes are announced on wrestling news sites). Historically "leaked" lineup threads would get deleted, particularly when they had their own thread that would draw attention to them. Back when Bill would still visit/post here, he'd get *really* upset of any info about future figures that came out, even if it came from completely legitimate retailers that would post sell sheets or pre-orders. I think one of the last times he was around, he lost it because photos of one of the Best of the Attitude Era figures were posted here (The Rock?) before the figure was officially shown. The photos were put up on Amazon's site, who were the retailer selling the line. So megathreads like this were often a little less prone to randomly disappearing out of the blue. I don't mind the idle chit chat, but I also like having an easy to find thread where we're regularly getting lineup info, case breakdowns, etc.
