I’d say it could be too much of a deep cut, but they made The Goon so I guess anything is on the table. So I’d personally like to see an Anvil in his late 91/New Foundation gear. Soft goods yellow jacket. Pants could either be molded or similar to the DX army pants just a little baggier. Would be a great Legend or Collectors Edition. It being a bright and colorful attire it does have a chance but I could see people not wanting it because there’s a 100% guarantee that we’ll never get a matching Owen from Mattel. |

Is it wrong that that post by theman actually made me laugh? It actually felt pretty good. And if you know what I've been going through since last night with the loss of my dad, you will understand. BUT. This one time...thank you to theman for bringing a chuckle to me... I got a chuckle at him still being mad at his toy shop buddy for WM8 Hogan. Sorry to hear about your dad. Glad this forum is able to provide a source of escapism for you. |

Every once in a while I'll check in on this thread and I'll see several new pages and I'll get all excited thinking that maybe there has been some new exciting news!
But no...just pages and pages of people basically making wish lists. Not that I don't enjoy the conversations, but I really feel like this should be a news thread and not an opinion thread. We have plenty of other threads for that. It's not the end of the world, I'll get over it if it stays like this. Just a minor annoyance.

I'd buy, it's very toyetic. Also, he did wear this attire for much of 1991 before he tagged with Owen, so you don't really need Owen as it isn't one of those situation where you only get 1/2 of the tag team. |

There are more complaints in this thread about there not being actual news and just speculation than there actually is posts speculating. The original guy who created the first thread, disappeared from WFigs, because he was tired of the thread being highjacked by Speculation and Arguing over figures I took over, and started a new one and that one got out of hand, highjacked by speculation and Arguing, so i created another one, same thing, locked over arguing. someone even created a thread for speculation and fantasy, but idiots would rather keep hijackings this one, who cares if there isn't News every day or week, we can bump that thread when there is, so when there is news, people will click on it for the right reasons. but every day its being bumped because we dream about what figures might get made Just start a German lineup leak thread. I wouldn't even call the German website leaks - it's sell sheet information that comes directly from Mattel. That's why it's almost always spot on. There also used to be info posted from placeholder lineups in the major retailers' inventory systems. Those seem to be either gone or more difficult to find these days. And there were some Instagram accounts that would post factory samples or information from the factory. Again those sources either dried up or the people who get those have stopped sharing info. And the last one that comes to mind for me, and maybe the biggest bummer, were the board members that would attend events like Axxess and have long conversations with Bill and the Mattel team and post here. It seemed like there was always a ton of cool/interesting/amusing tidbits that would come out of casual conversation, and more candid than the formal Q&As. The notes board members would post sometimes were more extensive and informative than the RSC Q&A videos. I say any news is good news. But there really isn't that much to discuss outside of the odd scrap of news once or twice a month. While things can swing too far into politics or OT discussion, I'd rather have an active thread than something 3 pages down that hopefully gets bumped when there's new info. |
