I just think they got too excited. The Majors talked briefly on the pod last week about problems internally with PT (no elaboration of course), but I know they've gone through at least two different licensing partners (Surge Licensing, who blew up TMNT was the initial partner) so no idea what is going on.

I pulled out. Cancelled my REMCO pre-order. With all the credible names who are apparently involved with this company, none of them took business 101 because all I'm seeing are red flags. Minimal marketing, next-to-zero communication, quality control issues (S1 Ultras knees first batch), and spreading their wings a bit too wide when they aren't event really established yet. Just too much for me. I hope you guys get a flood of product in from them in the coming months. Their (lack of) movements seem just a little shady to me. Interesting, didnt know preorders could be cancelled. Yup just emailed them and asked nicely. They refunded me in about 4 business days.

I am waiting for mine but no news as of late. I will give them till 2025. They need to give us some updates. Surely they should have an eta by now

I don’t understand if you are interested enough to preorder them, and impatient enough to wait on them. Why not buy when they are actually released for $5-$10 more (from Powertown)
Seems like it would cut a lot of stress and worrying away
These things aren’t made to order. They sell them when they release too

Has something changed recently because I was under the impression these are made to order figures?! I don't recall ever seeing series 1 available for sale by Powertown AFTER the pre-orders were fulfilled. I believe at some point they put up the damaged first batch for sale- when was the second batch put up for sale?! Also, I don't see anything on their website that indicates that any of the figures they are producing (Ultras, Remcos) will be available for sale once they have been released?! I had some interest in the Remco figures but would prefer to wait until after they are released to see reviews of what they actually look like compared to going by an early prototype.

I bought Stan Hansen and Bruiser Brody at separate times quite a bit after they released. From Powertown I would’ve got the rest also, but finances weren’t there But they definitely had them all available for a while after release

Thank you for this. I had a pretty heated response to taserface yesterday on just that line but just deleted it because it aint worth the drama. I thought the whole point of pre-orders and pre-order windows was to place made-to-order numbers (plus extras for defects) and still be profitable, because no factory in the world will produce product for you without you hitting the MOQ. I wanted to support PowerTown because I like these classic wrestlers we'll never get elsewhere and I'm not going to foolishly wait til they are in-stock to pay MORE THAN their value. However PowerTown's total lack of communication and other business decisions has made me decide to take my money elsewhere.

You can have a heated response if you want, fact is they sell them for $10 more than pre order when they come in Obviously the wait is / was bothering you. So maybe the $10 ‘fee’ would be worth it to someone like you I’m not trying to argue or start anything, hell I’ve been in your position too. I tried to cancel my BRG Bulldogs because I got tired of waiting, but they wouldn’t let me. I’ve canceled orders with FC Bone Crunchers because I got tired of waiting I was really just trying to say they offer them after the fact with a reasonable mark up, and you don’t have to float your money for probably a year with this company

Wow bro, you really can’t read. The wait didn’t bother me. I clearly stated that the lack of communication and certain business decisions on their part has raised enough red flags with me to decide not to support this company, it’s as simple as that.
I collect Mythic Legions too, try waiting a year and a half for those pre order fulfillments.

However PowerTown's total lack of communication and other business decisions has made me decide to take my money elsewhere. Don't mind him (taserface). He regularly defends companies on here when there are legitimate complaints to be had and his response is typically that the complainers are whiners or conspiracy theorists. That is the way a certain type of person shuts off conversation. Didnt work with me because i know almost every ct comes true. I also have eyes so i can see when there is a problem and can form a based response derived from facts (in this case pt has not given any updates for far too long) In this day of age there is zero chance that pt is unaware of this thread even if they never post here. They are 100% aware of this and the remco all stars thread and can see people are starting to back out. The fact that they have still not at least responded on instagram with an update to qualm fears is disturbing. It takes less than a minute to write something We have every right to form our opinions. Based on previous experiences i have had with mattel and with the four horsemen studios back in the days when they were offering their gothripolis line on kickstarter and a host of other projects that get funded but never deliver the final product, any time there is a lack of updates there is valid reason for concern. I remember being screwed several times (by walmart especially) and had my preorders cancelled and in 3 instances money was never refunded. I have seen ebay presales ending up costing 1000s of customers a lost opportunity to purchase elsewhere and the scammers making out with 100s of thousands of dollars without reprocussions followed by a rinse and repeat with different accounts. In this case, with pt, i made a small order but when you go all in and for over 800 quid for a 4 horsemen kickstarter without any true precedent that it will work out you take a risk that generally speaking should not be there with an established company. So you have every right to question the current status of these figures. Like others here there is still a hope that these will at some point be made (delivered) but they have a duty to at least let their shareholders (presale customers) know of any problems that are causing delays. Their instagram page was last updated 3 weeks ago (aug 22). Time will tell. Edit: just checked their last preorder update wS june 20. Anyone receive the matt cardona and brian myers 2-packs yet. They were supposed to ship this month: powertownwrestling.com/pages/pre-order

As far as their Remco line, so far, they're only a month behind from their original arrival estimate. But, the lack of updates and mostly silence across their social media doesn't look too good.

A more recent update from powertown would be nice. I’m guessing we will have them in hand early 2025.

Interesting, didnt know preorders could be cancelled. Yup just emailed them and asked nicely. They refunded me in about 4 business days. They got back to you 4 days later or is it they replied to you the next day and you got your money back 4 days later? Im trying to cancel a single figure preorder. Also just happed to notice, my first (multi-figure) preorder is over the paypal 180 days threshold. So I guess, if things were to go wrong, I'm out that money. I'm not worried about not recieving my figures, just noting the date while i was looking through my orders.

I recall the person even saying to get back to them if I didn’t see refund by then. But it was all good. I hope they follow through with their products. But seriously no excuse for the radio silence

It's only one figure so not really worth any aggravation and becoming a pest about it. Just something I'll mentally note for the next time they have a preorder. I'll update this thread with whatever happens however, for others benefit.

But, a lack of updates and not responding to email querys (both actions that require the bare minimum of time & effort), are certainly worth noting, at the very least. Thats it.

Ok, well made my comment nice & bold for you so you dont miss it this time 😙
