Note to self: never touch the legs and put it on the lowest shelf possible Hopefully I can get my hands on the improved version because I didn’t place a pre order

Looks like it has to be treated like a figma/Figuarts, not for rough play. SHF are surprisingly durable anyway...though of course anything will usually break when manhandled. The figures that, imo, need to handled very delicately are Mafex, where the figure feels fragile and brittle. Only had a little experience with Figma but from what i remember, it was a softer plastic but not gummy like Hasbro figs. Anyway, this just might be an instance of an early run having a bad batch of plastic. Its possible Powertown already corrected this issue. I'd wait to hear what Steve has to say before coming to any conclusion.

I have a ton of Figuarts and Figmas, at least 2 Detolfs full of them and only thing that ever broke was a balljoint on my Vegeto's neck from probably swapping the head to much. Nothing has ever broken out of the box, certainly not something thats supposed to be as sturdy as a hip joint.
On a side note I just saw Hasbro is having the same problem with their D&D figures being broken in the box, or just snapping with minimal force applied.

Talking of the Major Pod, is anyone else getting turned off by Matt's constant "F*ck, f*ck, motherf*cking"?
It just seems mega uneccessary and a bit forced.
I ended up turning the last episode off because it was just getting too much.

That video is indeed damning.
I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting for it to be addressed on the pod. Remember Matt clearly said he won’t bury a company he’s working with so it’ll be a fluff piece and they’ll make excuses and skirt around the issues
I’m very disappointed because as an out of box collector I thought these looked amazing both on and out of box and a fantastic looking package.
This may be a new toy line but they’re Experienced individuals in the toy manufacturing process behind this line, and the basics of QC don’t change. You have to get running samples etc to check and do these issues. The amount of crap mattel get for the slightest thing (my figures leg feels slightly tight) v it snapping completely trying to lift past a 3 degree angle is laughable

They spent a lot of time on it and they didn't pull any punches. They're also gonna have Steve from Powertown on next week to hopefully talk about how they're going to fix/address the problem.

Like basic QC? Like not sending out product clearly not up to quality?

Yeah, the fact that they seem to be highlighting the issue seems like theyre doing a bit of proactive damage control. I fully expect this to be brought up in the interview with 2 possible outcomes....wave 1 is delayed or they're already ontop of the issue but some faulty figures may have still gotten out and people will be able to get replacement figures. Maybe im giving them too much credit but those videos were kind of smart in a way, as far as the fanbase understanding the exact reasons for a delay if they do announce one. Just my 2 cents anyway...we'll see..

If Cardona was ever going to do anything for wrestling collectors aside from being an annoying detriment, now is the time.

I will glady take a delay as opposed to receiving faulty/ broken figures. For the price i paid i should be able to move the legs…i was looking forward to this line so much as a way to fill gaps of guys we wouldn’t get otherwise. If they just ship these out i expect a refund/replacement for the broken ones. I will boil them first before i make any attempt to move the legs but if his is just sad to hear and see for something i was so excited for.

Update from Steve from an interview on this week's upcoming Major Pod (I get it early from their patreon): They are completely re-running Wave 1 to correct the leg issue. Good news!
The delivery date is being adjusted as a result. They're planning on the corrected ones to be out late March/early April.

I wonder if they needed some extra time so they gave some rigged figures to MajorPod to break on their social media so that fans would be “happy” with a delay. Coordinate the break with a “transparent” interview within a week. Come on people.

It's a stupid situation. You act like they're a charity, they're a company making premium quality wrestling figures, supposedly, and charging a hefty price tag for them, yet the legs are breaking... I'm laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of the situation. but you get the others' point that we want them to succeed to get people we would never get. I watched as folks on this board crapped all over Super 7 figs without ever having them in hand. Folks that got them in hand generally like them I believe - I love them. People are more than welcome to cut them some slack, if they like. While I've nothing against the company whatsoever, I also don't owe them anything. They're a business, they're here to make a profit, which is perfectly fine, but they're having issues that really should have been picked up on during basic quality control. It's a hefty price tag, so hopefully they correct these issues going forward so that they can succeed as a business that people can enjoy.
