PROFILE:
Name: Mesh
Alignment: Babyface
Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
Resides: Los Angeles, CA
Height: 5’4''
Weight: 122 lbs.
Biography: Mesh is a childhood wrestling fan. She was attracted to the bright lights, colorful outfits and larger-than-life characters at an early age. Being an only child, she would often use her toys as fictitious wrestlers and book her own matches. Besides being a fan of pro wrestling and bright colors, she fell in love with dancing after watching one of her mother's old aerobic dance tapes when she was little. As a result, her mother signed her up for dance class when she was in elementary school. She's been doing gymnastics since she was six years old.
While still in high school, she found a wrestling school and there, she began honing her craft as a professional wrestler. It was rough at first, she managed to balance her wrestling training which would leave her sore and in pain and would still attend school and make her rounds traveling as part of a dance troupe, but she made it work. No matter what, she was determined to realize her lifelong dream of being a professional wrestler. A couple of months later, she was working the independent circuit around California, paying her dues and learning how to work. She loves social media and has a bit of an online following from all her years on the indies.
Mesh experienced her first rave while in high school and she fell in love with the scene. The bright lights, the colorful outfits, the loud music. The more raves she went to, the more well known she became throughout the community. Many started calling her "Mesh" because she always wore fishnets with her colorful outfits and the name stuck.
Ever since she was a kid, she has dreamed of performing on the biggest stage of them all and she’s busted her ass for years trying to get there. That’s where the WFWF comes in. One of the top executives of the company noticed Melanie due to her quirky and chill personality and the way she connects with the crowd so on February 21st, 2018 they got in touch with Mesh and offered her a WFWF contract. Of course, she signed it.
At first glance, she may look like she can’t hold her own in a fight but that’s the biggest mistake her opponents make because she will bring the fight.
Mesh went on to become the first ever WFWF Vanguard Champion, the 2018 Rookie of the Year and without a doubt, was the most popular WFWF superstar on the roster until the Knight was dethroned at SuperBrawl X where she was defeated and left nearly dead.
Depending on machines to keep her alive, Mesh remained in a coma for 10 months.
Until she rose again.
As a machine.
Back to get her revenge.
Style: She’s a technical high-flyer; she can wow a crowd with her flips, kicks and dives but she is also capable of putting on a clinic.

SIDE CHARACTERS:
Maria, better known as Mama Bear is Mesh's loving and supportive mother. She isn't too fond of the profession that her daughter chose but she's proud nonetheless. She is Mesh's biggest cheerleader.
Kat is Mesh's best friend and former tag team partner. She's the complete opposite of Mesh yet they share an unbreakable bond. Kat is Mesh's voice of reason, her dose of reality. She is brutally honest and holds nothing back when she speaks. She has very little patience for nonsense. Once a well-respected wrestler in her own right, Kat was blacklisted from the industry that defined her and as a result, she now has a strong disdain for professional wrestling but still supports Mesh in her journey.
Shemp Phillips, the smaller half of the indy tag team sensation The American Waste is one of two wrestlers that have been trained by Mesh. If Shemp was a Devil May Cry style, he'd be Trickster. His mohawk is always on point too.
Butch Jackson, the bigger half of The American Waste is the second wrestler ever to be trained by Mesh. If Butch could be any Avenger, he'd be The Hulk. He may not look like a punk but he is the most hardcore guy in the room.
Brian Kruger, better known to wrestling fans as Black Dream is Mesh's on and off lover and UCW alumni. Their relationship is complicated but they truly love one another; they just can't seem to last more than 5 months together. Somehow, life always finds a way to bring them back together.
