When Dynamite began I was hooked immediately. I’m still loyal, but they’re starting to lose me a bit. The first strike was Tony Khan. I’m grateful to him for putting this together (with lots of help), but I’m not really a fan of Schmosby. He talks too much, he comes across like a mark for certain guys and girls, but completely neglects others, and he clearly thinks very highly of everything he does, even the very public, very obvious missteps.
Strike two was Cody leaving. To me he really was the heart and soul of AEW. Now that he’s with WWE again he is very clearly (and maybe always was) an inherently WWE guy, but since he got injured so early in his run it still doesn’t feel totally real. It metaphorically ripped my heart out when he left, as that felt like a pretty big loss. In fact, the whole company still feels different (in a bad way) without him.
I’m trying to keep an open mind, but strike 2.5 is Punk. I despise him, he’s the sole reason I stopped watching wrestling in 11/12, and I was elated when he left (even more so when he got the $#!t kicked out of him in humiliating fashion twice in UFC).
If MJF were to leave I think I’d have to throw in the towel, at least temporarily. Things are going to be harder for AEW now that Triple H’s WWE is so much better than Vince’s over the last few years (although I was bored to tears by Raw last night and I’m never really bored by AEW).

MJF giving Cody the 10 lashes. I thought that was spectacular.
I gave up maybe 8 months later. No real reason. I'd just seen plenty and moved on to something else.

Black leaving will be a huge loss.
Hate to say it but the company is starting to go downhill.

I started watching weekly when Cm Punk debuted in AEW before that it was just here and there

The beginning of the year. Just decided to give it a shot with watching a whole episode of Dynamite instead of just clips on YouTube and really dug the Danielson and Hangman match and Jurassic Express winning the tag titles and just been watching since.

2 times it won me, 2 times it lost me.
Winter of 2019 I was hooked on AEW. I loved seeing all of the fresh talent with their own charm and since wins and losses mattered back then every match had stakes and intrigue. I loved watching favorites move up the rankings. The EVP's were tolerable and the booking was logical.
The pandemic era really shifted things. Without the crowd, it became clear who had talent and who didn't. Moxley and Cody Rhodes trading monsters to slay back and forth (Archer, Brodie, Kingston, Hager, etc) became tiring. The women's division was an afterthought until Baker's reign. Anything involving Chris Jericho and Matt Hardy was a channel changer. Sammy Guevara and OC were getting mega pushes.
The combination of Punk and Bryan's return and MJF's rise brought me back in, only for all 3 of those things to get ruined by booking. I still have a little hope for Bryan, but at this point I don't care even half as much about Punk and MJF anymore.
Everything I loved about AEW in the beginning is long gone, and everything I loved about AEW in the present is getting worse by the day.
I really want to like this company, but lately I've been considering just spending that time watching old episodes of NXT or early 2000's smackdown instead.

I was “All Elite” for about 2 weeks. When Cole and Danielson debuted and Hunter was removed from NXT. Basically the birth of NXT 2.0
2 weeks later, I stopped caring.
