It wouldn't surprise me one bit.  Retailers in general seem to have short attention spans.  The Best of Attitude Era line only lasted for 4 figures at Amazon.  And lines like HOC, Flashbacks, various two and three packs, Entrance Greats revival, and other sub lines didn't last much longer.

In some ways it's just a part of the game.  But I can't think of a similar situation where there's a product with clear demand that is white hot, and the retailer just totally flubs it.  Unfortunately it doesn't seem like Walmart is willing to touch the $30 price point, so not sure what other options could be out there.

I second Roddy and Mankind as part of the line, but maybe in the regular line instead of exclusives since both pair well with previous figures (Piper with Mr. T and Hogan, Mankind with Undertaker)

Good Legends offering would be RVD from ECW ONS 2006
