Before I start I have to say that I am ripping this idea off from a YouTube channel I am a massive fan of, The New 80s Revolution, I highly recomend that you check him out he has a lot of fun wrestling content on there. www.youtube.com/channel/UCTEsyvvz3N2xIYfIiQoVZqgAnyway, with May just about on us it got me thinking about how excited I was back in 1995 about the new event, In Your House. Granted my excitement died a bit when I realized that there was no way for me here in the UK to watch the show until it was released a few months later on VHS. We would eventually get In Your House live starting with In Your House: Ground Zero in September 1997. Before that, we would have to make due with a highlights package that would air on WWF Super Stars the following Saturday. I always had a fun time with the In Your House PPVs and there were some damn fine matches on them. I thought it would be fun if we picked our four favorite matches from the various In Your House PPVs that happened between 1995 and 1999. By the way, this was way harder to pick just four than I thought it would be! Bret Hart vs British Bulldog: In Your House 5
I love this match and actually think that it is better than the one they had at SummerSlam 92. It is an absolute blood bath, but I feel that adds to the drama. Bret and Davey had great chemistry together and I think this match was the best one Bret had during this transitional champion reign. Shawn Michaels vs Jeff Jarrett: In Your House 2
This is just an epic wrestling match and two of the best at the time putting on one hell of a show. I was all in on this Shawn Michaels babyface run and I thought this match was the best he had during his 1995 run. From the live performance of With My Baby Tonight to the awesome attires and the match itsself, this is just a really fun match to watch. Bret Hart vs Vader Vs Steve Austin Vs Undertaker: In Your House 13
It was awesome that Bret Hart won the title again here, but this whole match was just so exciting and so much fun. It is this match that makes me think a program with Vader and Bret Hart would have been fantastic. This was a match where I think that any four guys realistically could have been the winner. This is perhaps the main In Your House match that I am bummed I never got to see live as it happened back in the day. Shawn Michaels vs Mankind: In Your House 10
If I were to do my top ten matches of all time, this would easily make the top five. This was just a great match and one that showed a more aggressive side from Shawn Michaels. It was the best match he had during his first Championship run and he and Mick just beat the hell out of each other. I do think all the "ga-ga" at the end tarnishes it a tad, but apart from that, I freaking love this match. Let me know what your four favorite matches from In Your House are. |

Nobody picking Diesel/Sid?! As terrible as those matches were, at the time I was actually excited about them lol. By the way I highly recommend the In Your House blu ray the WWE put out a few years back it's hosted by Todd Pettingil and it is stacked with great matches. |

Lol as a kid I was excited for the matches too. I’m always down for a hoss fight and am surprised these two just never seemed to have chemistry with each other. |
