One and done or the more the merrier?

I don't think I'd buy another Rocky Johnson

Other than that I could see myself buying more of characters I only have 1 of.

KUSHIDA - The elite we got was everything I could have ever hoped for and I'm so glad it's Mattel that has the license because nobody else could have done it right (due to licensing issues).

Alundra Blayze - Since it's the only one we're probably ever getting, it's just fine as a one-and-done. The attire is iconic enough, although I'm still not sold on the headsculpt.

Wendy Richter - Again, since it's probably the only one we're ever getting of her, it works. Even if they were to make another one, I don't think I'd need it unless it was from the Original Screwjob.

Ember Moon (NXT) - I don't think anything else they could have given us would have topped her NXT Takeover Elite. It's an epic figure.

Superstar Billy Graham - I don't own this one as I was never a fan of his but from an objective standpoint, it doesn't get much better than this.

The Goon - Probably one of the strongest cases for them looking at a character, deciding from the start to only ever make one, and then knocking it out of the park.

Rikishi - The only reason to make another is to simply re-release the E27 one again so newer collectors have a shot at it. Maybe TrueFX the head. Maybe. It's pretty much a perfect figure (from what I've seen online).

IRS - I think this one is pretty self explanatory.

Tugboat - See IRS

Scotty 2 Hotty - See Rikishi, although they're both incomplete without Grandmaster Sexay (which we will likely never get).

Dude Love - *Should* have been, but they really need to revisit him and get the attire right. Why they couldn't have given him the Goon treatment I have no idea, they had to know he was the only one they would ever make.

Viscera - This figure is awesome. True, the mobility is hindered by his attire, but then Big Vis wasn't very mobile anyway.


Also, I concur with the notion that Hacksaw should be a one-and-done but I don't feel they've gotten him quite right yet. The Legends 3 I feel is the closest but it still doesn't feel right. Maybe if they fixed the hair color, I dunno.

Mia Yim could have been a one-and-done awesome figure if they had made an Elite of her pre-Retribution. The headsculpt on her basic is just awful, and Reckoning's mask isn't removable. Really salty about that ish.


As far as upcoming figures that I'm gonna need a bunch of, Molly and Stacy come to mind. I want a bunch of both of them, there's so much potential there and I fear they're only gonna give us what we've seen. At the very least they MUST give us Invasion Stacy. Even if we never get Duchess of Dudleyville or Super Stacy, we must have Invasion Stacy. It's not a request, it's a demand. As for Molly, I could very much go for a "Prude" Molly and a Bald/Wig Molly as well. Although, again, I doubt we'll get either.

I think it helps to re-release the same outfits every once in a while.

A red Legion of Doom would be great to have done again, Along with Demolition, etc. not just because many people may have missed them, but because Mattel have improved their headscans aswell, and gotten better with figuring out how to do accessories and use of soft goods and such.. Although I reckon Hawk and Animal would be a great choice for an Ultimate Series.

Hogan, yoko, bossman, kane, orton, cena, bulldog, etc.
Double jointed elbows.. face print technology.. swappable hands..

And i initially was going to pass on the new ultimate hogan since they were all to similiar (red and yellow) but looking at the reviews, it looks like they somehow managed to improve quite a lot.

As for legion of doom, i'd like if they make another one with animal's face paint being a bit different. Replace the yellow with white or white and green.
