Anyone here get sleep paralysis? I’ve had a couple over the last few years where I wake up from bed and then feel like someone or something else is pinning me down to my bed and then I wake up exactly in the same position in my bed. They’re usually pretty dark. I've never heard of sleep paralysis so idk what it is & I'm too lazy to Google it. However what you described I have experienced & I came to the conclusion that it was a ghost/spirit. Yes, I know its a bit out there. I can describe my experience if anybody is interested & if I'm not roasted here lol. But what did you mean by they're usually pretty dark?

Idk, if I would call myself religious, but I do believe that there’s a force beyond us. At least, that’s the conclusion I’ve come to. By dark, I mean I feel like I’m under some kind of possession in my dream. Something else, other than me is controlling and in my dream I’m floating above my bed with no movement. Only to wake up, in the same exact position I do when I’m in my dream feeling scared.

I've had them a few times recently. Except I'm my current age in the dream and for whatever reason it's like a frozen timeline and I'm continuing school where I left off because I left 2 years early(You can leave at 16 in the UK). I practically skipped the entire last year of school by not going or showing up for lunch and one or two classes and leaving again. So in the dream I'm doing the same and am essentially skipping school as an adult. I didn't enjoy secondary school and adulthood has been so much better.

Cause my experience was sexual so idk if u still want to hear about it lol. About u floating in bed. I believe u can actually do this irl. I watched a TV show in Spanish once talking about this topic. I kinda, sorta, but not really did it.

Man I cycle through about 5 recurring dreams/nightmares 29 days out of 30. I'm lucky if I get 10 unique dreams in a year. I remember at least 1 dream every night, I have a CPAP and it's a lifesaver but it isn't perfect, and I still wake up during REM sleep at least once a night. They're all negative, I get about 10 "good" dreams a year, the rest are essentially nightmares. Not murder-y nightmares, more just bad memories/etc. It's exhausting. I think it's very much a side effect from my meds, because I never used to have that common of recurring ones until I started taking them.

I have a similar recurring toy related dream. I'm wandering around a dark, shady looking mall that seems to go on forever, and I always end up at a toy shop that looks abandoned. They usually have a few imported games, and I always end up grabbing Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 if I see it. When I get to the figures, it's either full of old Jakks I haven't seen in ages or new, completely different figures that I haven't seen before. And every time I'm gathering them up to go pay for them, I wake up before I get to the register.

I watched a TV show in Spanish once talking about this topic. I kinda, sorta, but not really did it. Go ahead. OK. I won't get too graphic so as not to get banned. Before I begin I should explain that a lot of weird things happen to me.Not on a daily basis but every few years. So when this happened it shook me but I was like meh & moved on. One night. I don't remember if I was dreaming or not of this situation. But I know for sure I woke up because I felt something on top of me doing "it" Of course I was startled but not gonna lie, I was also enjoying it a bit lol. So I said to myself, let me pretend to be asleep to see how long this lasts & where it goes. If I was dreaming this whole thing up I don't think I'd be saying what I just said in the previous sentence. The next day I didn't really think about this much. Why? I wasn't going to tell anybody. I'm smart enough to know that this sounds very far fetched. Fast forward to a few months or years later. I was watching a Spanish gossip show called Ventaneando & the 4 cohosts were talking about a similar experience to mine. They were all talking about it very matter of factly like this is a common thing lol. That's when it occurred to me to Google it. Whenever it was that I did that there was alot of info on this very similar to my experience. It probably still is there. For some reason it never dawned on me to Google it until I saw them talking about it on TV. So I have 3 validation sources to say to myself that what happened actually did happened. Not that I needed them or anything

I always have dreams like that where I find out I have to go back to make up one lost credit, or whatever. It's pretty crazy! Interesting. I have this same dream. Very often. Even though I finished undergrad and grad school many moons ago, in the dream I still have a few credits to finish and I really never finished undergrad - always specifically undergrad. I wouldn’t consider it odd besides the fact that I have it so frequently.
