Is anyone else surprised by how well this is selling?
I assume they must be selling enough Andres to think they'll make money on another release. It seems like such an overdone and unnecessary release -- but I guess collectors disagree....

The best thing with so many companies doing andre is the fun in comparing the approach and how they look / feel.
As a name andre will always sell and he has cross appeal more than just a wrestling figure so makes sense

I love Andre stuff but the latest Andre is the worst yet IMO. The doughy body is honestly the best aspect of it. The faces do nothing for me and the accessories leave a lot to be desired: hands and surprise, surprise: a beer can. As mentioned in a previous post, this Andre should have come with hand gestures that were more unique/hadn’t been used with the other figures released thus far.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but i think who ever sculpted the andre for zombies retro is the best likeness i have ever seen by any company which is insane for the amount of trys major companies have had at him.

You could well be right with the closed mouth one. I’m not a fan of the open mouth scan. |

I haven't ordered any of their Andre figures mainly because I have no desire for them. However I am interested in the look they're showing in that picture. To bad Ringside doesn't stock the Andre figures I would have ordered this one from them.

I did that and the reaction figures. Maybe some day I’ll snag the yellow trunk version of Andre but I’ll never pay full price for that figure. |

Man I’m torn on this.
The body shape is wrong.
The head sculpts look off.
But maaaybe I can do a head swap with a Zombie figure or someone else.

I kind of like it, if I'm honest. Probably not enough to buy it, but I like that they've given him the big gut that he had in those days.
