Super 7 are great for turtles etc. They can’t do ‘real’ people

I like the body they went with, but I'm not a fan of the heads at all. It just looks off and more cartoony to me.

I like the body they went with, but I'm not a fan of the heads at all. It just looks off and more cartoony to me. Yeah that’s the problem they have with all ‘real people’ heads. They can’t do faces/heads well. Myers wasn’t happy with his heads on his super 7 and I’ve yet to see one I like. I collect some of their music reaction figures which are based on bands mascots and they do great ones - a recent social distortion one I’m going to order but already have rancid, descendents and gorilla biscuits ones they have done all look great. Turtles figures from the cartoon and film look great - the April o Neil is one of their better human faces but that’s really where they struggle imo. |

Some of the NJPW figures looked good if not great. I would say Ishii is the most realistic…but you have to keep in mind he is bald and his eyes are not a prominent facial feature of his. Out of all of the wrestling figures Super 7 has produced, I would say Okada’s is the least realistic. They look as though they are modeled after a cartoon and not a real person.

I think it looks pretty good TBH. Not perfect, but good. It’s one of the first times an Andre figure has at least attempted to capture the odd proportions of his body. Only the bulging out eyes head looks particularly good though. Has the same issue as the Myers head: the paint job is obscuring the sculpt.

What were they THINKING??? I was going to say this is one of the worst wrestling figures ever made. But I softened a little when I saw the main head, which is OK.
But why would they take ALL the promo photos with those two horrible heads?

The headsculpts are an improvement but still not at the level other companies are doing for less. Also, we get it s7, Andre liked beer. Does every figure they produce of him need to come with that accessory? It's especially annoying when they still havent given him any pointing hands.
