No. CM Punk *thinks* the Elite spread rumors about him getting Colt Cabana moved over to ROH. He goes on a media scrum and insults his own bosses in front of his main boss, and commits scorched Earth on everyone he has grievances with currently. The Young Bucks and Omega go to talk to him about this, rumor has it Punk threw the first punch at Matt Jackson. Ace Steel, Punk's friend, throws a chair at Nick Jackson, hitting him in the eye. He then goes on to bite and pull the hair of Omega. Most sides are starting to agree that Punk was 100% the aggressor. However, everyone involved has gotten suspended and stripped of their titles if they had one. "Talk to him" Actually kicked in a door. The guy who sent that info from Punks camp said he meant it like they barged in, not like they literally kicked it in.

I heard they double superkicked the door in.
I really hope Punk is the only one who walks/gets fired over this. I don’t want to see any of these clowns in WWE and I have a horrible feeling that Omega and the Young Bucks would be offered contracts.
These “media scrums” are what AEW will be most remembered for. They’re so entertaining.

"Talk to him" Actually kicked in a door. The guy who sent that info from Punks camp said he meant it like they barged in, not like they literally kicked it in. I don't know how long this info has been out,I saw it for the first time earlier today. That seemed like Punks biggest excuse/reason for what happened, without that his case looks even worse imo. Tbh couple days ago when the stuff was coming out about him getting fired,I thought it was gonna happen. Now I think its about a flip of a coin either way,if I had to choose I say it won't happen but I think the biggest issue is he didn't just fight a fellow wrestler. He got into with one of the higher ups in the company. Sure the Bucks aren't TK but no matter how Punk,Ace or fans think, they're still EVPs and I can't think of many jobs where you can get into a fight with a "boss" and keep your job.(I think you mentioned this a day or two ago and I completely agree) I can see the Bucks having a big influence on what happens to him. I can't imagine as much as TK seems to love Punk,he wants to cause issues with The Elite and all the guys that they will have in their corner. But like I said earlier I think ill lean to him sticking around for the sole reason of the Bucks liking money and know Punk brings in plenty of that.

Punk's side has since recanted that and said they did not kick the door in, more that they barged and forced their way in.

Go "force you way" in someone's house and see if hands don't get thrown. Or worse. They ran Cody out, had the man sign a NDA. And now they're at it again. Omega is 50/50, but the Bucks 100% have come off as dbags for a long time. They are that kid in school that nobody likes but everyone hangs around because they have all the new expensive crap.

Do you have any evidence to suggest the elite ran Cody out? If anything based on Codys last promo, Punk would have had more to do with it than the Elite. His whole promo was basically a shot at Punk. Plus, Punk said multiple times come talk to him face to face, so they did. They also by most accounts brought Megha (the lawyer) with them. Now, best time to handle it? Hell nah, evps gotta have better judgement to wait for the next day and make it a more formal meeting, that was a stupid decision and another point in the favor of not having active headliners in executive positions at the same time. I don't think they'll be keeping those positions when/if they renew their contract. Far from innocent are the Bucks, but the last thing Punk is in this situation is a victim. Dude trashed the entire company and then started swinging cuz he can dish it out but he can't take it.

WCW 2.0 was nice while it lasted It's obviously not dying. Not by a long shot. May hurt the next tv deal a bit but they've got time to rebuild a bit before that too. I don't know if wcw 2.0 is supposed to be an insult to it, but it sure sounds like a hell of a compliment to me. I love wcw pre garbage. We all know when it set itself on fire, but wcw was where it was at for a long time imo.

People that are so anti a wrestling company are funny to me. Agreed. It's just very strange because like, if you're a die hard WWE fan, you should want aew to succeed. Likewise, if you're a die hard aew fan, you should want WWE to succeed. If you like both, you obviously want both to succeed. Monopolies only lead to worse products. I have trouble understanding hating one of those companies enough to want it to fail knowing it's going to lead to a worse product for the company you do like. It's not like there's a third waiting in the wings to fill that market gap, we'd be waiting quite a while for that opportunity to present itself again. This is such a great opportunity to create a sustainable world of wrestling that keeps improving.

People that are so anti a wrestling company are funny to me. Having an annoying fan base on social media, and an owner that comes across as a jackass will do that unfortunately.

I don’t really use social media like that which helps. I think Tony is a dweeb but he also books things I enjoy so I look past it.

You really can't trust Punk. If All Elite go to WWE can Khan really continue to push Punk. Would make more sense for Punk to have final run in WWE if Triple H's heart can take it.

People want AEW to fail SO BAD it's almost pathetic. I get it, you grew up on WWE. It was your first taste of wrestling. You have special memories. There were other shows, sure, but they just didn't do it for you. WWE is/was your baby. But then new things come along. People pay attention to them ... and you get ... heck, I don't know what you get because it makes no sense to me. If I had to guess ... wrestling to some is like pro sports to others. WWE is your TEAM. So of course you'll bad mouth the other team and hope they fail. You get ... loyal. But wrestling isn't real. It's not a sport. It's fake TV. I may prefer AEW to WWE but I in no way shape or form hope WWE fails. First off, it never will fail. But still ... it helps keep wrestling on TV and figures on shelves. But yeah ... some people actually want AEW to fail lol. All so their mighty WWE can be the only game in town? So they can pound their chest that THEIR promotion is the best one? Yikes, man.

WWE will always be number one - it's a global juggernaut, with years of history. The problem with AEW, is that it's an upstart, three year old company, that doesn't know it's place. If it stayed in its lane, it wouldn't be so bad... but for the paltry three years of its existence, it's done nothing but reference, take shots at, and bad-mouth WWE. WWE, on the other hand, has barely aknowledged it's existence. They refer to their three year old world championship, as "the biggest prize in pro-wrestling", when in reality, it's virtually worthless. That's why I didn't care if Punk won it, because it means nothing. That's why Cody left the company he helped create, to go back and win a proper world title with history and lineage. The NWA and NJPW titles are bigger... even the ROH and Impact world titles have more importance and value than that thing. As far as wanting it to fail, I'd lean more towards the side of yes - mainly because of the way it's conducted itself since it's inception, the irritant of an owner - who I absolutely can't stand, and the nauseating fans/smarks/simps it has spawned.

Agree with a lot of this, but if it fails, so many people are out of a job. That really sucks. I grew up on WWF, but when I discovered Luther companies existed, I tried to absorb as much of it as possible. Staying up late to watch wcw replays or on weekends to watch ecw, renting any videos I could get my hands on. Ow at 34, I don’t have as much time for wrestling so I’m more selective in what I watch. But I want them all to thrive, no matter how much I dislike an owner, wrestler or whoever. It’s better for the fans and especially those in the business. This whole situation sucks no matter how you look at it.

I find it funny someone just said they dislike the irritating owner of AEW ... when Vince was owner of WWE. And then the dislike of the AEW fans, when WWE fans can be just as dislikeable. But as I said earlier today, wrestling's fan base has two polar opposites ... and never the twain shall meet.
