I’ve been on here a long time and see people always talking about a WM8 Hogan. Why is this era of Hulk so coveted? Is it the flag shirt that’s so wanted?

Not sure. WM 8 Hogan Match does not stand out to me as very memorable.

Hey gang, Remember that HULKAMANIA shirt that came out in either the late ‘80s or early ‘90s that featured a different style logo? The shirt was a turquoise blue or lightish blue, I think, and the letters were more 3D block-like letters, and there was an explosive effect in the middle of the logo. Anyway, I “think” that I recall the Hulkster wearing that, although I’m not positive. Either way, does anyone like the idea of a Hogan figure with that shirt as an accessory? Or is it just not iconic enough? And does anyone recall him wearing this shirt? |

I don’t care what kind, just don’t do that stupid cruiserweight torso and heavyweight crotch piece crap. Looks stupid and ruins otherwise good figures. So I guess Sheamus, Flair, Hayes, 1996-1998 Triple H etc... are all cruiserweights? Well, on that crotch piece it sure looks cruiserweight size. But hey If you’re okay with those part choice more power to you I guess 😅 |

I would say 95 wargames then have matching macho Luger and Jimmy to accommodate but what's the point in making them without sting. Plus just putting dx army pants on any yellow Hogan and a little bit of paint can make it
I'm hoping it's either going to be 02 hulk still rules era WrestleMania 8/18 dungeon of doom era or bash at the beach 96 maybe white singlet when Freddie managed him or red trunks white American made shirt

Gotta think mainline Hulk isn't going to be something obscure like anything pre-hulkamania or something highly wanted like Hulk Still Rules. Probably gonna be a WCW Hulk Hogan either first Nitro or BATB 1996. Mainline has been a WCW kick lately like with Fair and Steamboat.

Until unless they use that disastrous elite 91 torso I don't want any hulk from hulk still rules era hogan. I prefer ultimate for it.

I was thinking about this earlier today as I was eating dinner and in my opinion a WM 8 Hulk Hogan Elite could be one of the top sellers ever for Mattel. Think about it, Red and Yellow Hulk with the American Flag in the middle of his shirt with Hulk at the top and Hogan at the bottom. Accessories could include the eagle WWE title which belongs to Hulk and the USA flag that could fit in Hogan's hand. In my opinion that is the definite version of Hulk Hogan we need considering we already got WM 3 Hulk with DM. Of course I would not be against another mid 80's Hogan but I think we would all prefer the Mega Powers version but would understand the desire for another WM 3 Hogan considering many people don't want to pay over 100 dollars for DM Hulk Hogan. I am pinning all my hopes on more Hogan figures at WM axxess. |

What about this Hogan? This would be a fun one for Mattel to make, and it would go great with the latest Sgt. Slaughter release. Figure could also com with Sarge's helmet and a Madison Square Garden folding chair (similar to the one that came with Survivor Series Elite Bret Hart): ![]() This has Ringside Exclusive written all over it I'd be okay with that. Needs the USA bandana, facemask, dog tags, camo shirt, camo vest, Sarge's helmet, and a MSG chair (used during the match). |

I went with some friends to the Smackdown taping in Manchester, NH, that featured the debut of Mr. America on Piper’s Pit. I’ve got some funny stories from that evening that I’ll have to post sometime. |
