As someone interested in horror and retro style figures I was looking forward to the monster figures they were/are doing, but after reading this thread I think I’ll leave them.

As someone interested in horror and retro style figures I was looking forward to the monster figures they were/are doing, but after reading this thread I think I’ll leave them. safest option is to just buy one of the MANY other figure lines doing monster figures I guess
the Hasbro-esque style looked good, but given who's (apparently) making them..... it's not worth risking your money for figures that will never see the light of day

Plus, do you really want a ZST figure? Not a figure made by ZST, but a figure made as a weird dig at ZST, and by Rush, no less? I'll stick to my ReAction figures, thanks.

wait, so has he finally received the shipment of figures he's claimed he was waiting on so he could ship his own stocks?? (as in, he's finally got the stock he forgot to order....)

He acknowledged that I’ve been a supporter since the beginning which is factual. I’ve been critical at times but I’ve only ever wanted to see all these guys succeed and I’ve supported all of them. I’m glad to see he recognized that. |

I’m not a hater, and I never wanna see people fail. However, I also don’t want to see people get fleeced for their money. I do wish the circumstances for this line were different. That Patriot looked amazing. And I am sad that he won’t see a release.
I also don’t know what the future of his wrestling figs holds. Hopefully, things get worked out and he’s able to continue and things go smoothly.

For those brave enough to take a gamble, Rush put his Frankenstein’s Monster up for pre-order (along with a glow in the dark variant). He also tried to hype a mysterious third versions…but no details on that.
Originally, other figures were supposed to go on sale along with it. Nosferatu for example was supposed to go on sale the next day. I asked about it but he never answered it. That took all the temptation out of ordering one! He has since removed that graphic though so it looks like maaaaybe Frankenstein will be made.

I ordered a Jonah back in August, after some delays he sent me tracking and then I got the figure yesterday. I ordered it directly from Rush Collectibles via Instagram.
I haven't actually ordered from his website before so I can't comment on that but I like the figure a lot (mine is still MOC) and he was very friendly through the process.

I honestly wanted to buy the whole Monsters line (didn't want Cthulu, but figured it's probably easier to buy them all then flog that on) but there is no point in taking a chance on one figure, if there's no guarantee the others will come
pointless decision, again, by the master of failed decisions. sorry Sal, I know you're probably reading this, but you've had long enough to get this sorted and you've failed (again) so I see no point investing in, or continuing to keep an eye on Rush any further.

I tend to display any carded Horror stuff MoC, so them falling apart in this case wouldn't be an issue for me, provided they actually turn up as opposed to him just taking my money and pretending to post the figure like he's been doing with his wrestling line and somehow getting away with it. That said, I'd sooner spend a night in a waterbed with Dennis Nilson than buy anything from that wretched little pleb. |
