I'm not sure about Trump's image and likeness being public domain, but I'm pretty sure his name and signature are not free to use for commercial ventures. I don't really care about IP personally, but I had to track down Rush on facebook and continue to message him until he responded and shipped out my order (in a box constructed of scraps of other boxes, that arrived in a condition I can only describe as "open, but not opened by a person"), so I really hope these somehow find their way to the likeness in question, a person that could really use whatever money is made off these.

I bought 1 Trump bc he said it was the last one. Next day 3 more became available bc of a “canceled” order, I bought them. The next day 5 were available so I bought them and got free shipping. DMd him to cancel the first two orders. He Blocked me. Um what? Then I came here and read 30 pages of similar stories. I literally was promoting his brand bc he had the guts to put out a Trump retro, he has no contact info anywhere, am I SOL? You bought how many? Is your post mocking me, trump, Sal or all the above? |

He did recently provide a bit of an update on his herman munster figure he took pre-orders on 11 months ago. To sum it up hes basically starting over but "it will be better".

Some aspects are improved. He was going to have to redo certain things due to concerns with the new factory. I don’t fully understand why elements couldn’t be molded on or painted but whatever. |

and none of his 'explanations' make sense - the factory will make whatever you send to them, so if he's still got concerns about the factory being able to deliver, that's on him, no-one else. he chose the factory, it's his responsibility to find a better one.

Can’t answer the first part about the money; it seems like pre orders are always being used to fund whatever project he owes people from the years prior. I have no real reason to believe the other orders wouldn’t be honored; he is just making some design changes as he changes factories. But it is clear as day these things are a long, long way from being released (meanwhile he was able to crap out that Trump figure on the back of CVV to try and make an extra buck while he still can). The fact that he can “rush” something when he wants to doesn’t instill feelings of competency. It makes everything else you do look bad. It comes across as little more than a serial con. He has released next to nothing in the past year and changed directions about once a month it seems. He will only continue to deliver things if he is able to get people to finance his previous projects. If I’m wrong then he can come to me and set the record straight. But after this nonsense having gone on for OVER two years now, I just don’t know what else to say. It feels like he tries out different markets (video games, wrestling, horror, politics, comics, movies) to try and find a way to escape or deal with his previous grift. Again, I could be wrong on this but with all of us on the outside looking in, it is hard to see it any other way. Until this pattern changes and he starts releasing things like a normal independent company (even a one person operation), I highly suggest not pre-ordering from him because there is no telling how this story will end. |

I saw he posted some pics of the molds for CVV. I’m no expert but it looked like they were made of wax rather than steel. Maybe it’s just the first step? I dunno but seemed off

A claim I saw a week or so ago was that he had planned on holding some figures to the side to sell at conventions. So the final count was the same but he was just nice enough to put his personal stock up for pre order.
