Looks like he sold a grand total of 200 NES figures so no bonus figure. Also, that fourth figure will be made but sold separately. Oh, and for some reason all the figures are coming individually packed instead of being on a single card…he didn’t quite explain that. Worst part? He made it sound as if only 200 will be made (no extra). That one seems doubtful but we shall see if these get made at all.

I'm shocked that people still give this man money. you could literally burn cash and get more value from doing so than giving it to him. It must be people that aren't familiar with the way he operates. I actually like the nes figures. It's a cool idea but after my experience with him i definitely won't be ordering again. Plus he's changed them from a 3 pack to single cards after the preorder. I prefer the 3 pack so i wouldn't have been happy if i had ordered. Just another example of how he is..... |

His newest interview is a wild ride. Claims the Trump figure saved his business, that he has always been honest about everything (but had to sometimes hold things back), makes his plans known for copying Big Rubber Guys and now Major Bendies, and that is just the first half!
If he is able to turn it all around and become more legitimized, cool. I’m happy as a collector who cares about other collectors. But this is a lot to take in and I’m not sure if/how he catches up on all the other preorders.

Fabric/cloth is woven into large sheets/pieces and then cut to form shapes and designs… I dont know how he can deny this started as a large towel/sheet of cloth and then cut into small strips, folded with a dot of glue… |

He put out a video discussing it further. There were a lot leftover from the French Angel figure. The towels having the dot of glue makes it that much worse IMO as you can’t really do anything with it outside of have someone hold it. Like it can’t be worn and pinned or stuck together with Velcro. Very limited usage.
In the end it is all silliness. Like anything, if you don’t want it you don’t have to buy it. Where it came from originally and its actual value is mostly irrelevant. If Wrestling Figure Workshop were selling these, none of us would really care. But because it’s Rush, it just feels like one more thing that a lot of people will roll their eyes at. He has that hustler mentality without question.

also, it's not "because it's Rush" but it's because it's Rush that he's once again trying to sell people something before delivering on the goods that people paid for, in good faith, over two years ago
it's not a "hustler mentality" to continually fail to deliver on your promises, the guy is just an out and out failure full stop at this rate. and he's now trying to convince people to part with their money to, once again, get something that is underwhelming and frankly, insulting.
