Your WWE Mattel predictions for the next few years

They'll phase out Ultimates, cut accessories on Elites, and remove another point of articulation on Basics.

I predict we’ll get more incarnations of X pac, Godfather, Undertaker, Big Boss Man, Hogan, Warrior, Bret, Shawn, Sid, etc.

I also predict we will not get any fresh midcarders from the attitude era. “If they become available to us blah blah blah”

Get ready for Sean Waltman pre 123 Kid in 2023

2023:
People will complain because the Elite Veer Mahaan isn't hairy enough
Articulation will be completely removed from Basics

2024:
Another change to the Basics, Basics will now have no arms

2025:
Yet another change to Basics, they now have no Feet
An Elite Ultimate Warrior is released

2026:
Mattel have run out of attires to make for the same legends they've been making, and they have no contracts for new legends, so now they create their own legends, Legends series 40 includes:Bill, Bob, Frank, and Fridge
Yet even another change to Basics, they are no longer painted
1 Single Elite will cost 600 000 dollars

2027:
Mattel's new Mattel Creation's kickstarter will be the Head of an new ultimate edition Frank, The kickstart after that will be the Neck Peg of the Ultimate Edition Frank

3000:
Robot Mattel's new Kickstarter for the final piece of the Ultimate Edition Frank, the bottom of the left boot
Basic's are now just Cardboard Boxes with nothing in them
An Elite Ultimate Warrior is released
Mattel 300th Bret Hart headscan, doesn't look like him, the other 299 don't either

The only real major change I could see happening is the mainline Elite series dropping down to 4 figures + a chase instead of 6 figures + chase.

Which, if they got the amount of characters to a case right (to limit pegwarming) would be a good thing.

My predictions are on ultimates.

2 Lines- UE Current & UE Legends
Ultimates will be utilized in crowd funding project- whether that's in 3/4 packs or a UE that has A LOT of accessories (Ex. Kevin Nash comes with vest, bandana, too sweet hands, outsiders t shirt, nwo t shirt, spray can)

Do you really think mattel would really get rid of there most successful line in elites

I wouldn't particularly hate it, especially given WWE's ever-diminishing roster and the amount of Legends seemingly available to Mattel.

It looks like WWE is moving to a business model of a core set of Legends in the form of a limited roster. Most of those folks are dead and no longer pose a threat of bringing expensive scandals to their brand - Savage, Warrior, Andre, JYD, etc.

This is why we keep seeing the same set of Legends in the video games, in figures and on WWEShop merch.

I think the days of them signing large numbers of obscure talents are over. What we will probably see is basically what we’re getting now. A few notable exceptions like Kiebler and Goon, while most releases will be variants of certain talents - different characters and looks of the same performer. So cheers to many more Razors, Warriors, Brets and Machos.
