Now that Mattel has finally given Hogan an authentic orange tan, it's making a lot of other figures look pale in comparison. Mr Perfect, Macho Man, and Warrior come to mind. Sid? Don Muraco, superstar Graham, etc. Which others need an update with proper tan?

Pretty much every caucasian figure is too pale compared to real life. They don’t need the Hogan tan, but they should’ve never been so light. Much too late for that now though.

There needs to be some shades in between Hogan and everyone else...Bulldog needs to be tanned, but not as much as Hogan.

They need to correct Roman Reign’s skin tone. How about that? They made him the shade that Farooq is supposed to be. He needs a lighter skin tone. I think Eddie Guerrero also needs a more consistent skin tone as well. They’ve juggled between tan, to light to tan. It’s a bit annoying.

I can appreciate what they're trying to do with the Hogan tan, but I'm not sure if it works/looks better (especially in-person) - it looks a bit too orange and stands out too much to me 🤷♂️. |

I get where they're coming from with the Hogan tan, but I don't think it looks all that great, to be honest, in person. The skin tone they went with for all the white guys is grand, in my opinion. Although Hogan was darker in real life, having his figure darker than others just makes him look a bit out of place I think.

There was a wrestler in the early 2000s. Some American guy who wore a mask and was really patriotic. Wasn’t around long but had some major feuds towards the top of the card. His name escapes me but he had that dark tan.

I second the notion that the Hogan skin tone looks like he bathed in Doritos dust. I get the notion of the bad spray tan but this is ridiculous. He looks like a burnt Cheeto. The fewer figures with that skin tone the better.

It's very much needed on Warrior and Savage, but we've got so many of them now it's arguably too late to start.
It's also necessary on Mr. Perfect - if we ever end up getting another one.

 It's a pretty accurate color. Unfortunately it just makes everyone else look so much paler in comparison. I wish they don't go all in on the hogan tan if they weren't going to wit everyone else. Warrior was darker than hogan in this era. Orndorff, luger, macho man etc. It just makes their figures look so inaccurate if displayed near an orange hogan. |
