So what matches do you think we should have got at WrestleMania but instead happened elsewhere... in your opinion?
Looking back there’s many matches that’s taken place at non WM events which I think should have at least happened once at any WM event... Austin vs Foley, Austin vs HHH, Austin vs Taker, Austin vs McMahon, Rock vs HHH, Rock vs Foley, Rock vs Taker, Hogan vs Flair, Cena vs Orton, Bryan vs Punk, HHH vs HBK, Cena vs Edge, Reigns vs Rollins, Hart vs Taker, Taker vs Foley etc... and many more.
We’ve seen all of this stuff many times but I think they really would have been potential WM classics.

More recent but given how many times they've actually wrestled each other, im blown away that Orton and Cena didn't headline a Wrestlemania somewhere between 2007 and 2011. I thought for sure when Orton won the Rumble in '09 that that was going to be the year we got Cena/Orton in the main event of Mania.
Angle/Undertaker should have happened at Mania 22 instead of No Way Out 2006.
Punk/Cena should have happened at Mania 29.
Edge vs. Christian should have happened somewhere around Mania 26/Mania 27.

Hogan vs Flair Macho vs. Jake the Snake Bret vs. Austin II LOD vs. Demolition Rockers vs. Power & Glory Hogan vs. Mr. Wonderful All of these choices are real good... Austin vs Hart rematch with Austin winning would have been a classic!

Austin vs Hart rematch with Austin winning would have been a classic! Yeah. Too bad Bret and Vince couldn't come to an agreement for Bret to stay. I really think that Bret should have been the one to "pass the torch" to Austin at WM14, and Shawn should have been his first feud as WWF Champion. Shawn being the corporate champion could have helped split DX up to give HHH the lead after WM14, then by WM15 Shawn and HHH are in a feud with Austin now feuding with the Rock.

Austin vs Hart at WM14 would have been a classic main event and I still think they should have been in the main event of WM13. If both guys wasn’t injured in 2000 then we could have got maybe another WM match outta em.

May not be a top choice for many but Edge/Christian for the world title should have happened at either WM26 or WM27. I will stand behind my opinion that Del Rio was simply not over as a main eventer around WM27 and a returning Christian going against Edge for the world title would have been great (with either man being able to play the face or heel).

I like the Big Boss Man and the match at WM7, but Steamboat/Perfect would have been an all-time great match. It would have been cool if Boss Man got injured by the Heenan family prior to WM7 and he got to pick the replacement wrestler for the match, then out comes Ricky the Dragon Steamboat.

I guess we also have to add this, they did wrestle in WCW when it was Surfer Sting and Mean Mark:

I guess we also have to add this, they did wrestle in WCW when it was Surfer Sting and Mean Mark: That would have been a great paring but I still think/thought Surfer Sting be Undertaker would have been better. All the symbolism was there. You had good vs evil…light vs darkness…high energy vs a methodical pace.

I may be alone, but I don’t think Undertaker and Sting would have meshed as well as people think. At least not in the realistic years the match could have happened. Now, 1992 Sting vs 2006 Undertaker? That would have been a banger.

Now, 1992 Sting vs 2006 Undertaker? That would have been a banger. I don't think it mattered. They didn't need to wrestle some technical masterpiece. Hogan vs. Rock wasn't some masterpiece for their ring work, it was the dream match element, the crowd and the story that made it one of the absolute best moments in history. Sting vs. Taker around Mania 31 would have DELIVERED no matter what.

Sting wasn’t in a place to bump all over the place for Taker and Sting probably wasn’t in a place to life a 300+ pound guy I will admit it’s my biggest dream match, but the timeframe it could’ve happened… punches and kicks and finishers
