Lets give this a go. Do you play those weird anime solitaire games? Have you broken a controller? Do your visits to the strip clubs on GTA require tissues? Do you find *insert really popular game* to be boring?
-Arthur Morgan's death had no impact on me. I knew it was going to happen so I was prepared for it. It bothered me more that they just repeated the ending of the previous game. Now, the horse on the other hand...
-I've thrown a couple of controllers at the wall out of rage.
-I don't get the big deal about the first Last Of Us. The second one was great though.
-I've never played an Assassin's Creed game nor do I intend to.
-Zombie games don't interest me. I'm probably missing out on several great games but I don't care to play them.
-I stopped playing Far Cry 5 (or whichever one had the cult leader) after less than an hour.
-I've never owned a PS1. My parents for some reason wouldn't let me have one but had no problem giving me a Dreamcast.
-As much as I hate scalpers, I've scalped three PS5 consoles and made close to $3000 profit.

- I have something like, maybe three hours total worth of experience playing Legend of Zelda games.
- Objectively I can appreciate a lot of things about Red Dead Redemption II but I just couldn't get into and really have no desire to even try it again. A huge open world game without fast travel, in which you apparently have to do menial tasks like feed yourself and take care of a horse? That's a "no" from me.
- Fetch quests in RPGs are the lamest form of story telling in video games and is a large part of why I don't enjoy RPGs in general. "Oh hey, the world is ending and I know you're busy ... but I need you to go __ to get me a watch". *Goes there* "Thanks, now I need you to __". They're also just very unfun to do.
- In general, I probably prefer linear over open world. I like the game to come to me, no the other way around. It's not a hard rule and obviously there's many exceptions, but if a game is just big for the sake of being big that doesn't make it better. IE: Mafia III would work far better as a linear experience with all of the memorable missions as opposed to having to take over districts and just doing standard open world stuff in order to advance the story.
- Judging it in terms of price I get why people care about how long games are, but long ≠ good. I'd rather play something that's ten hours and is fun for those ten hours then something that's bloated to 30 and is a slog to get through 2/3s of it. It's just a turn off to play something and think "man, I can't wait until this gets fun again".
- I also have flipped out many times playing video games. And I'm a strictly single player, so it's even sadder to know I'm the worst version of myself playing against an inanimate object.
- I max out on normal, often playing on easy. Ideally I prefer when games let you change the difficulty throughout so I can adjust it accordingly, but I also will set it to easy just to avoid certain gameplay mechanics I don't find engaging. Oh, you need to craft things or have certain armor in order to fight against certain enemies? Not on easy you don't.
- Evidently, I also could not care less how "good" I am at a particular game and frankly, I'm not sure I even care enough to try and master it. Stuff like Souls games, Bloodborne, and Returnal pride themselves on being difficult and forcing the player to learn through trial and error? F that, practising is for stuff like parallel parking for a driving test, not video games.

I’ve punched holes in walls and broken controllers because of UFC 3 online a few years back. Pretty cringe so I wound up just uninstalling the game. The community was so toxic and you’d wind up fighting the same person over and over because of the bad matchmaking system.

I've ran about the house screaming when I got my Shiny Popiole in Pokemon Ultra Sun. Not even sorry, still one of my favourite Shiny's and it was my first ever full odds soft reset hunt and I got it in under 2000 encounters.
I'll admit to cracking a TV playing Wii Sports tennis though. My Mum was NOT impressed.

I’m not a huge gamer, so 99% of games that are popular I couldn’t care less about.
Back in like high school days I would get really mad when losing to my friends in WWE games. I’ve thrown/tossed controllers but I don’t think I ever broke one.

I have beaten Ocarina of Time 5 or 6 times, but have never once beaten the Water Temple. Made my brother do it for me.

The number of games I play until I get to a mission I can't beat and then never play again is easily 6 or 7 times the number of games I've beat. As said earlier, I'm here to have fun, not practice and try 100 times.
Also agree on the Souls games. You can make them hard for experts and still include a node for normal casual players.
I've bounced controllers so hard they hit the ceiling. It is what it is.
I will edit the attributes of players I dislike. No shame

I seem to buy games way more than play them. Have 230+ PS4 games on my system. Have only played about 7 of them, only 3 all the way through.
I am absolutely terrible at games I used to easily beat as a kid. Fired up my RetroPie the other day to tinker with a new controller and played some X-Men 2: The Clone Wars. I pretty easily beat this while game in one sitting as a kid. Couldn't get past the first level without turning on an infinite health cheat. Don't feel bad about it either.
I still have the PS2 I bought on launch day and it still works flawlessly.
I'm a 38 year old man and my favorite games are LEGO games. LEGO City Undercover being my all time favorite game.

I went through at least 4-5 PS4 controllers and I’m on my second PS5 controller.. I didn’t smash them but it’s the left thumb stick that gets a rough ride of things, was always tearing the padding off on the PS4s, PS5 are slightly better but not great - the stick just failed on my first controller.
I’ve really struggled as I’ve gotten older to finish games, there’s just so much of them and even an objectively beautiful and brilliant game like Elden Ring which I have a preference for… I’m just like, yep, get it, can I get to the end now please? I’d rather go and play some Lumines than dive into a massive triple a marathon.
I once lost an OG GBA with my Ruby and Sapphire games whilst on holiday. That sucked.
I completed Vice City on my IPhone using touch controls alone. I’m a heathen.
I play fifa with my brother more than anything else by a long long way. It’s sad how 2 person on the sofa games have been largely marginalised or certainly is the last priority for most games these days.

For the most part, I dislike strongly the FPS genre, and I have never finished even 1 RPG.

I have never finished even 1 RPG. This. I tried to play Final Fantasy VIII, got lost within the first 20 minutes and never picked it back up.

I have broken many a controller over the years. Both by launching them and just squeezing/twisting them in rage until they break.
When I get pissed off playing a game I will say the most vulgar and offensive things I can think of.
I always hate/hated playing games online with strangers. Thankfully they have done away with many online trophies in the titles I play. When I did play online matches in Red Dead I was a “camper” and didn’t care when called out for it. The point was to stay alive and kill the opponents more than they killed you.
I hate FPS games and love 3PS.
I am a Sony guy and after two years of trying I finally got a PS5. And the closer we were getting to Gotham Knights release had me seriously thinking about buying the XBox (shivers thinking about that)
When the very first Tomb Raider game came out I spent all night trying to make one jump to a pillar without any success. And quite a bit of rage. My wife who doesn’t play video games did it on the first try. lol

Over the last year or so I have really gotten back into retro gaming and found a bunch of gems from my childhood. The downside is I am running out of space.
PS1/PS2/PS3/PS4/PS5
SNES/Gamecube/Wii
Xbox 360/Xbox One/Xbox Series X
Still looking for a quality N64 which might just be my favorite console ever (PS2 close)
I used to run all over folks in Halo 4 online multiplayer, must have held some kind of record for people rage quitting and sending d**kish messages. I remember getting invites to join clans and teams and remember thinking at the time that this is dumb. Nowadays people are making millions on youtube just streaming games. Crazy how much time changes things.

I don't like gaming in its general definition . Board, card or word games are much more interesting for me as they involve some brainstorming. Crosswords are another example of "useful" gaming. For the long words I prefer to use word finder word-finder.com/10-letter-words/ and don't break my mind for too long.

I've never broken a controller out of rage, the only time that came close was when i was playing Sonic Heroes when i was growing up, the game frustrated me so bad due to it being a broken mess at times with the characters clipping through floors, clipping on rails and falling to bottomless pits resulting in numerous cheap deaths. Something must've snapped and i threw my Gamecube controller across the room and hitting a wall, i still have that Gamecube controller to this day and surprisingly it still works perfectly..
I used to play Left 4 Dead alot with my friend over Xbox Live, we'd rush the level zooming past our team mates and sneak into the safe room stealing all the health packs even if we didn't need them. We'd also purposely lure the tank over when it spawned half way in the level over to our team mates and get it to attack them, sometimes we'd even hold a team mate in place by healing him so he couldn't move just so the tank could send him flying halfway across the map, good times..
Me and the same buddy used to play Team Fortress 2 on the Orange Box, we'd pull off that glitch where you can place a turret on top of the Red teams barn roof just to get an advantage over Blue team, our team mates would be staring at us in awe over the time it would take us to set the damn thing up and by the end of it we'd both be dancing on the roof laughing our asses off. The turret would insta kill any unsuspecting blue team member who would try and break into our base, it was funny for a while until they'd catch on then it just became a minor annoyance to them..
Believe it or not, i've never played a Call of Duty game and have no interest in playing one..
I don't really follow gaming trends and rush out to buy whatever is new on the market this month, i just play whatever i feel i'd enjoy playing whether it be an old game for the Xbox One or something that's been out over ten or so years ago on the 360. Hell, i don't even have the current gen Xbox Series console yet and i'm no rush to owning one, there's nothing that's came out that really excites me anymore..
