I'm happy to see something else in the works, though not surprised. It's a pretty low risk/high reward model for Mattel.
Hopefully things have been worked out internally at Mattel so they have a smooth rollout this time.

This might be unpopular with collectors but I hope it's something modern. I don’t think anything strictly modern will get enough backers. I’d imagine most of the adult collectors willing to drop a few hundred dollars are a majority old school. That’s why I believe HIAC is the perfect project as it spans from AE through today and they can offer different skirts, ropes, posts, and pads to go with any era. |

I would love a smackdown fist stage and a Nitro stage, but it could be the Attitude Raw Stage they displayed during WM Access. Although I have an authentic scale ring, I do think that Mattel need to release a black ring similar to the New Gen ring.

My fear of a crowdfunded HIAC is if they make the red cage. I personally would not buy a red painted cell.

Didn’t they pretty much confirm it when the last one was funded and we’ve been speculating since that time as well? I think the safe pick is HIAC with UE Mankind. I am super biased but I think the Creations project would be the perfect place for a UE Mankind as they could do more with accessories, soft goods, etc. then a regular release or even Ringside exclusive. I'm also getting antsy for Mick to get the UE treatment as some people are already on their second or third one. |
