I don’t know why I feel this way, but I’m gonna go with a Monday Nitro set.

I would say if Bischoff is signed to a deal then something Nitro is possible. Doubt it will be the entrance. The announce set is more likely. One of the stretch goals could be interchangeable signs to convert it to nWo Nitro. Maybe we get Dusty or Bobby announcers or Mean Gene. They could be elite as I don’t see any need for them to be UE. Scott Hall or Ultimate Warrior debut figures are possibilities for early bird.

So by your logic, they should make the new project build on the previous project (thus killing off most people's interest) and at the same time, you suggest the previous project was dead in the water until Savage was announced, who is unrelated to the actual arena project itself.
Sound advice, alright.
First of all, Savage is 100% apart of the arena project. The campaign exploded once he got added in. So swing and a miss there. This ring is scaled differently than past releases. So, in order for cages, cells, elimination chambers, etc to fit the ring, they need to be sized for the New Gen ring. Steve said this would be the only ring for a good while. So that means anything that could be used to add on to the arena set up would mean it needs to accommodate the size and themes of the ring. If they do an Raw stage, then we need skirts and black posts for the ring. And like I said, the campaign wasn’t really moving until Macho got added. That means that the UE figures were a bigger draw over the ring and entrance. I’m sure you’re trying to pick at me because of you wanting to go back to the stone ages of legends distribution. So good luck to you and all your collection goals. Have a nice day
No, what you said just didn't make any sense.

If they ever showed an Elimination Chamber people would be upset unless it was made out of real chain like the Junkyard Dog dog collar. And just based on the size alone it would be crazy expensive regardless of the materials Not ONE person would be upset because its not made from metal chain, lmao. Who would ever expect that?!

So you’re only quoting my posts then? Instead of all the others speculating and suggesting cages, cells and what not? Because I guess they’ll just fit on any old ring. Real or imaginary.

I only think it's a good idea to build on to it IF they have individual options at different prices. One being you already own the ring so you just get conversion pieces and whatever the project is and the other being the ring + the project. Otherwise they are either A: Limiting their potential customers to the 8k or so that bought the new gen arena or B: Forcing those 8k customers to buy another ring. Both of which are bad ideas.

Yes, it isn't a wise business move to only cater to the 8K

Otherwise they are either A: Limiting their potential customers to the 8k or so that bought the new gen arena or B: Forcing those 8k customers to buy another ring. Both of which are bad ideas. I never said they 100% need to focus future projects to build onto the new Gen set. I said I didn’t subscribe to the point that they shouldn’t do future crowd funds that only focus on building onto the new Gen set. If they do a cage, or a cell, or a chamber or whatever.. they’re going to make it to fit the new Gen ring because it’s a unique size. They can easily make conversion pieces that fit the ASR or ESR If they wanted. I also said that it’s pretty clear that the UE figures were the big selling point of the set. So if they make a cage to fit the new Gen ring, if they include 2-3 good ultimates and some other accessories then it has a shot. I’m 100% not saying they should focus on the 8k backers and cater to them. However, I’m saying 100% if they make anything that builds onto the ring, they will make it to fit the New Gen ring And to be frank, people were questioning their business decision all over the place before Macho was added into it. “Why new Gen? That was a horrible era!” “Why no belt with Diesel?” “Lmao $250 for this they’ve lost their mind!” “This thing ain’t gonna make it!” Anyway, I’m done with this. Nothing against you but my words got misconstrued by another and this is just getting annoying.

Yeah if they do HIAC, blue cage, EC, etc then it would most definitely be scaled for the New Gen ring and not the Main Event, ASR/ESR, or basic rings. That’s gonna be their scale ring going forward. And for those who missed out will get an opportunity to purchase the base model of the ring on Mattel Creations.

I don’t see them doing suited or non wrestling gear Ultimates so I doubt commentators, managers, or stuff like Scott Hall in all denim happen. Unless they do them as Elites.

Do you guys think they spent money on tooling for the Raw is War stage that was displayed at axxess just for fun? They obviously plan to sell that in some way in the future….I’m thinking that is the next Mattel crowd fund.

I really hope it's for the Over The Edge '98 set with all of the cars. Comes with a neckbraced Rocky Maivia and Farooq. Reach goals include Dude Love and Mr. McMahon.
I mean if we're all going to throw out our longest of shots...

To be fair, that's not what you were saying the first time around (or at least, it certainly didn't come across that way). What you've said above makes a bit more sense.
Although you do have to keep in mind that the ring with the current crowd-fund may well be repackaged in 'modern' livery and mass-released. So they can still build onto that scale if they wish, without running potential customers off.

Tooling would only come into play if it goes ahead into production. They’re prototypes, and Mattel has done this for their WWE SDCC display several times over the years - Gobbledy Gooker, Beth Phoenix doll, Orton/Punk statue etc.

Speaking of one off show pieces I wish they woulda released the WM7 and SS91 Macho and Liz dolls. If they were to be made available on Mattel Creations I bet they would sell out in minutes.
