If it counts for gimmick only, then The Godfathers Elite was brilliant. I know he's had the Papa Shango gimmick done too, but his Elite 40(?) was great.

Demolition and Rick Martel. Mattel knocked it out of the park in their first shot. Shame they can’t remake them for those who missed out as they are fantastic figures.

The Kairi Sane figure is really good. I remember being really happy finding it at retail, and I'm glad I grabbed it when I did. I could have never predicted how in demand that one would become.
