What is with this obsession with Mr. America? It was a short, lousy, forgettable gimmick that ended abruptly without any decent payoff. An elite would be fine, but holy crap what a waste it would be as an ultimate. I don’t necessarily “like” the gimmick, but I think it’s funny and I, along with many others, want to get as many different Hogans as possible. That said, I just want it as an Elite. An Ultimate is a bit overkill for Mr. America.

Would love an Ultimate Edition Cody, as early as it seems. His look is perfect for the UE line; like Warrior, he has so many color options and the trenchcoats with swappable arms are made for the line.

I would love to see Bischoff, they've done so many WCW names he's such a noticeable void at this point.

An Ultimate is a bit overkill for Mr. America. I'm not a hardcore collector by any means. In fact, I only own six Mattel figures. One is the Ultimate NWO Hogan, one is the 2021 Elite SummerSlam Hogan, three of them are the Ultimate WrestleMania I Hogan, and one is the recent Basic Hogan that I bought solely for the headband. Hulk Hogan is by far my favorite pro wrestler, and while I'm slightly tempted to get a couple/few of my other favorites from the '80s & '90s, the only guaranteed purchases from me are some new Hogan incarnations. I was in Manchester, New Hampshire, 19 years ago for the Smackdown taping that featured the debut of Mr. America. The place ERUPTED when "Real American" hit. I mean, it was awesome. it was like being back at the Boston Garden when I used to go to WWF shows in the '80s and '90s. Love him, hate him, or be wholly indifferent toward him, Hulk Hogan is the Icon of Icons of Professional Wrestling. Sure, the Mr. America gimmick didn't last. It could have been something much more. But it was fun while it lasted. And it was nice to see the Hulkster in a different color scheme. I don't know about you guys, but I, a HUGE Hulk Hogan fan, only want so many yellow trunk Hulk Hogan figures. I mean... It gets pretty boring to me. So why not a Mr. America? Just as long as they include two heads; one with the original single star mask, and one with the flag stripe mask. I got to try on the original mask at a store in Rhode Island during the summer after that Smackdown. I forgot why they had it; anyway, it was pretty cool to wear the mask that Hulk "Mr. America" Hogan got to wear. I understand that Marvel Comics had an issue with the original single star mask. I recall there was some issue with it being too close to Captain America's mask, although Cap has an "A" on his mask. Pretty funny that the same guy who had to deal with copyright/trademark issues with Marvel Comics regarding the adjective "Incredible" and the noun "Hulk" had to, decades later, deal with Marvel for another Avenger. Anyway, I'd like to see a Mr. America figure. For variety's sake, as well as for the fact that it's the Hulkster.

BUT I do think an Elite Mr America would suffice. I don't think the gimmick was long/important enough to make it another Hogan Ultimate Edition - and I'd much rather have an UE of his "Hulk Still Rules" look or Wrestlemania 18.

I am still annoyed that his RSC Wolfpac figure isn’t an Ultimate. Would have been a perfect figure...

I have to confess that I don’t even know the real difference between the two types. The Survivor Series Hulk is an Elite, and the WM 1 Hulk is an Ultimate. I know the Ultimate has more accessories (extra heads and hands), and I’m guessing more articulation? But sure, I’d take Mr. America as an Elite.

Different articulation too. Elites have a sort of hinge articulation in the mid-torso cut, while Ultimates have a swivel cut in the torso, (think of 3 3/4-inch G.I. Joes) that allows for more range of motion. Some of them have had butterfly joints with a forward/backward hinge for more shoulder movement, although I don't know how standard this is - I don't think the women have had it?

Royal rumble 2008 Edge? Or like Rr 06, or Unforgiven 06.
2006-2008 Edge basically with better head scan
If we’re gonna get third chaps HBK, let’s get WM 22. If we’re getting tights Royal Rumble 03 or WM 19?
WM 22 HHH or maybe even bad blood 2003?
WM 23 Undertaker would be very cool.

I hope we see survivor series 2022 BAF we know we getting Becky lynch so far hopefully we see the others Being the 20 year anniversary of the first Elimination Chamber at Survivor Series, no way they don't do that hideous yet historic Survivor Series 2002 Shawn Michaels. We'd finally get a new RA HBK head too.

Anyone expecting anything other than a cost-cutting repaint is gonna be sorely mistaken.
