Stone Cold vs Bret Hart: WrestleMania 13: One of my favorite matches of all time! These two were phenomenal together and this match really ignited the fire that was already under Stone Cold. He looked like such a badass in this match, even in defeat, he won! This was a match where everyone came out of it looking better than when they went in. I have a great memory of watching this with my grandfather who was just as into the match as I was.

Stone Cold vs The Rock: WrestleMania X7: I nearly cheated here and put their match from Backlash 99 on here as I already have this match on my Rock Mount Rushmore, but I wanted to pick my legit four favorites. This is the greatest WrestleMania main event of all time for me and nothing in the 20 years since has come remotely close.

Stone Cold vs Dude Love: Over the Edge 1998: Even though they had a hell of a fun match the month prior, this one with all the crazy stuff from Vince and his crew gets my vote. Stone Cold and Foley had great chemistry together and I thought that this corporate stooge version of Dude Love was a lot of fun.

Stone Cold vs Triple H: No Way Out 2001: This is actually a tremendous PPV as well as this match, Rock vs Angle is also another fantastic match on this show. Anyway, this was so much better than the match the two of them had at Survivor Series the year prior. The three stages of hell gimmick was something that I thought was really cool and in 2000-2001, Triple H was at the absolute top of his game as a heel.


Man, Austin had so many great matches that putting this list together was really tough! I so wanted to put his match with Angle from SummerSlam 01 on here or the Final Four match from In Your House or even one of the other two matches he had with Bret!

Tough one, I didn't see or don't remember much of them. But number 1 for me is a no brainer:

WM13 vs Bret Hart - to me, the best match in WrestleMania History, could very well be the best match in WWF/E History. Like hbkjason said, these two were just phenomenal together. I enjoyed all of their matches and their entire feud.

KOTR97 vs HBK - another fantastic match, I really enjoyed the finish.

WM17 vs The Rock - didn't like the end, but the match and the atmosphere (love the ol' Dome) was amazing. But they shouldn't have turned Austin in Texas.

The 4th one is hard, he had a number of really good matches with a lot of great opponents: Taker, Kane, Owen, Mankind, Booker T, Angle, etc. I think I'll go with the Three Stages of Hell match with Triple H. A very innovative match concept, plus Austin & Triple H worked really well together.

Bret Hart at WM13, Rock at WM17, Undertaker at Backlash 2002 & Vince McMahon at St Valentines Day Massacre (had to have a McMahon/Austin in there).

Kurt Angle loses out of my 4, but that whole summer in 2001 was a total highlight.

vs Rock on the Raw after SSeries 98, vs UT & Kane @ Breakdown, vs HHH @ NWO01 & his two matches vs Angle in 2001 are also strong contenders. Austin also competed in 2 of the best tag team matches in Raw history....w/HBK vs Owen & Davey.....& W/HHH vs Jericho & Benoit.

vs Rock at WM17 was utterly destroyed by the end. WM19 is so deflating to watch for me.
