There seems to have been a real slow down in non-mattel wwe action figures / figure type products
Not long ago at the same time we had:
Jada metal figures Loyal subjects Funko pint sized heroes Funk mystery minis
We had the garbage patch style figs and the odd bobble heads here and there not not an actual real line / wave of figures.
I wonder if this is wwe’s decision or reflective of a downturn in popularity of wrestling as far as licences are concerned or dilution post aew forming etc

WWE Shop have had some really random pieces over the years, obviously being a WWE product. Maybe they might just be taking the thought process that if they can make it themselves then why not?
Mattel is a never ending cash flow for them, I can't honestly see either wanting to leave each other but as for other products, maybe they just feel unnecessary things aren't selling. The metal figures ended up in Poundland here by the droves, if it's not selling then why bother.

Yeah the metals did small miniature figs but also like 5” ones which were really cool imo and they had a load of legends which never come out. When jada were asked why they said wwe wanted jada to get the current stars out first, and I guess they didn’t sell well enough for the legends to follow. There was also the wwe muscle figures, which super 7 own the license for snd put out I believe which was also around that same time as all those I mentioned.

Warrior, piper, sting and macho I believe They also did 6” with belts of aj, Finn and HHH Then they did the 1 and a half or whatever timy scale which the legends did come out in

I'll have to have a look for the Warrior.

Wicked cool did some stuff but obviously the AEW line put a stop to that.
I feel like we need someone to make accessories and rings as Mattel doesn’t love doing that stuff.

Just to add to this, I'd say Funko Pop's are probably the most successful thing out with the Mattel line that WWE has ever produced/partnered with. I don't see that stopping anytime soon.

Everything funko is successful lol, I very quickly got very bored of seeing them take up 50% of comic shop space

So not wwe but diamond select have an agreement with aew
As it’s not jazwares thought better to comment it in here and this post seemed a good fit since it was about random companies doing wrestling products
So far they’ve shown minimates which are kinda articulated mini figures, people compare them to Lego mini figs but they’re stylised different with more articulation - I have a few music ones like a couple of ozzy, Rob zombie, Alice cooper snd they also have lots of tv and movie lines.
Interesting to see what else diamond do with aew as to my knowledge this is their first steps into wrestling?

Forever Collectibles have been releasing a new WWE bobblehead pretty much every other week the last few months. Some of them look pretty nice, but don't really fit into my collection. Maybe if I was focused on wrestling only.

Yeah,I would think WWE is very, very happy with the products Funko does for them. They just started putting WWE guys in their soda line(their second biggest line behind the Pops, close in looks to what the mystery mini line was)with Stone Cold and The Rock is rumored to be up next. They even putting the ladies on their Loungefly bags now(first being Bianca)I think its already up for pre order or getting ready to be. They still do the occasional t shirt and novelty things like the lunch boxes, pins etc. So I can see them focusing a little more on Funko now and leaving the smaller companies.
