How does Walmart get so many exclusive lines and they barely ever show up? What happens to these figures? And how the hell did some random Canadian dude luck out and find so many cases of the Harley Race wave? Walmart pretty much keeps everything stocked but store exclusives. Makes 0 sense. Yeah, that was bizarre. He sold that wave for months on Ebay (I bought the entire series from him myself), it was a seemingly endless supply. It could be a whole shipping container full of them got sent to canada by accident or something then maybe got lost, stolen, etc. Either way by hook or by crook that dude is for sure enjoying the nice new house or nice car he bought will all the money he made. Mattel does little to nothing to ensure the wwe product line actually gets to the stores, so its whatever to them... |

Does anyone know if walmart already charged customers for the preorder or is it only once shipped? I pre-ordered this thing back in October and can't remember!

Actually, I didn't. Apologies. AFA said in the chat this week that they had to go an alternative route to get series 2 to us. Then RSC put Andre up for $40 on Thursday. They just can not admit they are wrong can they ? Seriously why would walmart demand things from any company that makes products they sell in there stores ? They deal with hundreds of companies and vendors they don't have time to deal with all of that. Here is what really happens, companies come to a walmart office and show of there product. Then whatever department its for, electronics, hardware, toys, etc a team of people look at the product. Then the company aka mattel says "Yes we are are thinking about this new product line as an exclusive for you aka walmart. Walmart either says yes or no and then goes from there, they are not beholden to mattel. So when the sales of the first series bombed and they had to clearance out a ton of them, walmart pulls the plug. Mattel then contacts ringside and says, walmart killed this line. We have X amount of figures, you want them ? Ringside says yes most of the time i would assume, and they charge whatever they think they can get away with like $40 for an Andre figure. Mattel more than likely gives ringside a bulk purchase discount, depending on how much they buy. |

RSC are glorified scalpers and just another secondary market rip off when it comes to these “difficult to find” figures. I notice that figs like Goon, Zodiac, Valentine etc all initially hit at $35+ when they would’ve and SHOULD’VE been $19.99 at retail. Don’t worry bunghole, I’ll just wait until the Black Friday sales when this Bigfoot Andre will be discounted. You ain’t getting forty bucks out of me for a $20 figure. |

Steve, any idea why Ringside has enough Andre the Giant as Bigfoot figures they can be featured on their site at a premium price, and someone like me who pre-ordered it back in October of last year for retail price from Walmart still can't get one? So much for this figure being a Walmart exclusive I guess? I never saw Piper in the stores either, and Ringside has it as well now. Something seems...odd here. I’ve passed this along to the team that handles that aspect of the business. Hoping to at least have the Andre pre-order issues sorted. |

Hope you don't mind waiting nine months for this figure. And also now it's available at another retailer for twice the price. Makes me less than happy to see a big sdcc reveal touting wal mart exclusives. Oh maybe you'll get this one on a year if you're lucky. |

I just don't understand Walmart's preorder process. It's one thing if Mattel had a production delay and gets the product to them late, that makes sense. However, this product is ready to go. Either Walmart has it and isn't sending it out for some reason, or Mattel has it and is just waiting for Walmart to order it, which at this point, I don't think is going to happen.
