I'm pushed back to October 24-25. That's fine, so long as I get it.
As for the figure, I'm also disappointed in the skinny legs AND the lose-fitting elbow pads. If they are the same ones (but black) that they put on the khaki elite 89 Sgt. Slaughter then I'm gonna have to replace them with the inaccurate but better fitting ones that came on Goldberg's other figures.

I really can't imagine that this figure will be as popular as a few of the past Amazon UE exclusives. I think he'll go up again in a month or two for good, like WM6 Warrior.

My Goldberg actually shipped as well, should be here this week. The whole amazon ordering system is just pure luck. I ordered Shawn Michaels they day it first went up and that one has been delayed multiple times, just got pushed back to August 29th.

I missed out on the UK preorder and the US one was displaying as unavailable for me despite being available for those in the US at that time.
I keep checking but no luck.
Not sure how to create an alert for when it comes back again. Anyone know how?

I was thinking the same thing. I realize it has to go from California to Maine, but that was never a problem with Prime. Then again the postal system these days seems to crawl. Yes it's updated now, arriving tomorrow 😁  Did you get your Deathstroke? Mine along with Scarecrow and Superman (Future State) all were supposed to arrive yesterday but instead I received 3 delay approval emails. And I preordered those within an hour of them being listed. And I know that because I was checking Amazon for new McFarlane DC listings every 30-40 minutes that week. |

Mine showed up today, here in DFW. It’s definitely the best prime Goldberg imo, even though the build is imperfect. His legs are too skinny as we’ve all noticed and he’s just too narrow through the midsection in general, but it’s not like Mattel is going to do this look again in Ultimate form, so I’d suggest picking it up. The open elbow and knee pads are an upgrade from everything prior.
The screaming head is the best head by far so if you display it in an action pose you’re good to go. The resting face is a little goofy looking, although that’s maybe not totally inaccurate because I see the same expression in the image they used of him on the back of the box, no offense intended. The “smoke” head is only usable with the smoke because it’s weird without it.

For me it’s the Ultimate/cream of the crop deal behind this. This Goldberg is supposed to be the best version of him we’ll get from Mattel. For such a simple attire and seeing how many characters we’ve gotten with one off unique molds. It’s sad that he can’t get his own unique mold. I remember Bill stating that after the Raw ring exclusive, they’d give him a new body. Nothing came of that. It took nearly years to get the open back elbow pads and open back kneepads. Not to mention that his boots are supposed to be glossed too (which is an oversight). Now, it would be hilarious if Goldberg gets his own mold after all this is said and done. There’s not many attires they could do with him. |
