That old Elite is pretty hard to come by though, I think, so unless people already have it, they'd have to track down that BAF head that I think I saw listing for on the shop. Pop that bad boy on the Gene figure and yeah. Would probably make a good Golden Era Vince. Or, at least as good as you are getting with that headsculpt. Kind of wish someone, somewhere along the way had made a 3D printed head of Golden Era Vince. I would have loved to have that at one point. |

Hey yo, what's up with these Steamboat face scans? Did they drop the scanner while they were scanning? I mean, they've done Ricky Steamboat before and yeah I know this is supposed to be "young" Rick Steamboat but ...... something is off here.   THIS..... I've already pre-ordered. I'll buy any Mean Gene Okerlund products that they choose to put out.  I don’t have a Mean Gene figure besides the retro. I will definitely get this 2 pack with Hulk. They should have had him in his wrestling gear. What a missed opportunity! |

Hey guys, this isn't really figure related but I thought it was cool anyway. I was watching one of Kyle Peterson's videos from about a month ago and he said he just got back from the "Con Of Cons" !! It may not be a big deal to you all but I thought it was really cool when industry insiders start quoting me.

I've had friends pick up on my vernacular before and start using it, but I've never had anyone important start doing so. Although if the word "Stonking" somehow ends up in Sami and Kevin's biography, I'll consider my life's work accomplished. |

Any Gene that tall would be off but in a 2 pack with Hogan that is meant to replicate those moments feels especially egregious. |

That Rumble Hogan feels weird to me. I dunno, maybe it's a thing of my being a woman, but the way that he's holding that blanket/flag in front of him, my brain can't fill in the gaps of his clothing behind it. The nature of it reads way too creepy to me. Even if I did collect Hogan, if I was a MOC collector, I wouldn't want that one either. That reminds me. I actually have the WM 3 DVD on my shelf that I've never watched. I should get to doing that sometime. And I legit have no idea why they have never released Python Power Hogan yet. They can flood stores with truly meme worthy numbers of Ichibans, which has a target audience of who honestly? But going to my local walmart yesterday when 2 weeks ago there was an entire endcap flooded with WarGames Solos, Retirement Undertakers, and Top Picks Romans... Guess which one isn't there anymore. Top Picks Roman. Nobody wants a retirement Undertaker or a wargames Solo. If it was regular attire Solo, sure. People might buy it. And a classic attire Undertaker? Easy sell. Roman, however, is Roman. Roman is Roman is Roman. Same gear for a decade now, give or take the chest protector and shirt. You give people a Roman in an attire they recognize, they buy it. But I gotta say you are right. Nobody cares about Ichiban Hogan or Debut Hogan. If they want a Hogan, they want the Hogan they know. Specialty and one off attire figures, very rarely, are what the casual collector is looking for, unless it's someone who is buying a figure because that one show/event has meaning to them. Yeah. If they're gonna keep making Hogans, make the Hogans people will buy. Because the Wall of Ichiban photos are just depressing. |
