Quality control seems to be under new or no management these days at Mattel. Oof. It's getting ugly out there.

That Punk is literally everything I've ever wanted in a wrestling figure. Holy hell. It's a 10/10

The more I look at the new ultimate Punk, the more I think we need a different torso for the elite Punks going forward. This ultimate torso looks fantastic and shows he was a little bigger. The elite style torso is just wayyyyyy too skinny. Just something I thought about.

I think the Daniel Bryan/CM Punk torso is too small for 90% of folks they use it on

WCW Nitro Stage crowdfund return confirmed I know it is a joke, but it would be an interesting prospect. Let's say it is 2 years from now they have Sting, Flair, Goldberg, Savage, and the Giant back under contract - and they offered at least some of those in with the stage. Would that have changed the performance? Image they had all the top hitters as the 5 figure choices - Sting, Pastamania Hogan, Flair (maybe in a tux), Giant/Big Show (Nitro shirt and 2 heads - one that was more Giant like and one that was more Big Show like), and a Savage, would that have helped things?

Yes. I would've happily ordered at least 2. Instead I begrudgingly ordered 1 just to support it. Rey should never be the main figure in any crowd fund considering he gets 4-5 figures a year.

I am still of the mindset that the feature item should be enough to sell itself and the early bird and stretch goals are just icing on the cake. None of the GI Joe vehicles needed big name figures to fund.

I've never been into Joe, so I'm not entirely sure, but it seems to me like they have a much, much bigger community and buyer base than WWE/wrestling figures.
Based on the numbers they regularly put up for crowd funds, it doesn't seem like a particularly helpful comparison.

Speaking of the Nitro stage debacle, did you know you could buy an 8 and a half foot Giant-Sized Animated LED Knight Dullahan for 400? Darn thing moves on its own, rides an animated horse, lights up, talks, and is almost 9 feet tall. Now it's on sale for $265 and Home Depot is still making money with it. Pretty cool, huh? There's also a 12 foot Giant-Sized Animated LED Levitating Grim Reaper you can buy for 300 bucks too. 12. Foot. Lights up. Moves on its own. Talks. Levitates. Happy Halloween!

None of the GI Joe vehicles needed big name figures to fund. Totally different market. Wrestling fans rely on names. They put highly sought after names/figures with rings for a reason. They had to add macho man to new gen arena.

If Sandman is allowed to come with [plausibly deniable] beer cans and barbed wire, then surely we can finally get a barbed wire bat or 2x4 with Cactus Jack?
