That's the Ron Simmons I have always wanted, but based of these initials photos, I'm not impressed with the execution.
Aren't those the same legs that made his HOC figure too tall? I don't like that torso for him either.

I wish the WM3 Hogan had at least one new head and a un-ripped shirt. Not sure they added enough to entice me to buy another.
Old Man Hogan is fantastic.
Usos look great, but the rubber shirts are a turn off.
I like the Simmons.
It'd have been cool to add a younger half blonde head to the Shield Rollins. Two in one sorta thing.

If the greatest hits Ultimate line is going to be more than just rereleases of the same figures, they really should have did a different look for Seth.

Both Ultimate Hulk Hogans look FANTASTIC!! Don't really care for the Elite Greatest Hits but I'll wait for what it looks like Mint On Card. That Ron Simmions looks horrible though, was really looking forward to that figure. Can't wait for both of those Hogans though.

Thanks for posting those pics J-MANN. Greatest Hits Ultimate WM3 Hogan looks fantastic. That finger pointing pose is superb. And the yellow cloth HULKAMANIA is such a classic, and a much needed change from the red shirt. Ultimate Hulk Still Rules is a winner as well. I’m lukewarm regarding the Elite Hogan in white trunks. From the neck down it’s great. The droopy eyed hound dog head is not my favorite. Also, this would have been the perfect opportunity for a cloth white AMERICAN MADE shirt. Two out of three are excellent, though. So that’s not too bad. You got to think we see American Made and Python Power Hulk Hogan next year at either WM or the Con Of Cons. |

I like the Vault Hogan for the simple fact that it covers the CC version, because I didn't want that Funk. Downvote "didn't want . . . Funk." The only things the same between this and the Coliseum version are the kneepads and boots. Tights, wristbands, shirt, belt, and head band/bandana are all different. This one also doesn't include the ubiquitous cross necklace. |

What match is this elite Hogan from with the red shirt, white trunks, white kneepads, white boots and white headband? He wore all white gear quite a few times in ‘85-‘86. I’d have to look for a specific match. He’s wearing the white trunks on the VHS of The Big Event, but he didn’t wear them at The Big Event. |

I realize NXT’s popularity fell off tremendously when the 2.0 switch happened but watching last night, it is wild to me how few members of that roster have a figure now. Especially on the women’s side. I’m not sure what the shirt-term solution is, but long-term when this batch of NXT women makes the jump, Mattel is really gonna have to reassess how often they make women’s figures. If half the roster is gonna be women, then they can’t get 1 figure per set.

This figure really does seem like a waste.  Even switching out the robe for this jacket and shirt combo would have made me buy this figure twice. |
